Mariam Rose me too I just have so much respect for all of the original Jackson 5 members including his father they started it all. I think jaafar sounds like jermaine and Michaels voice mixed together.
I surely dont think so. It's mediocre, at best. Just because he has the last name Jackson, does not make him talented.. There is nothing fantastic, to me, about the song or the video.
En realidad, te conocí por la biopic de Michael Jackson, es mi cantante favorito, pero he empezado a escuchar tu música, y WOW tienes tu propia esencia unica, espero y saques mas canciones muy pronto, tienes una voz increíble!!
he looks EXACTLY like his father and sounds EXACTLY like his uncle. thats some fun stuff right there. and has that amazing trademark smile all the jackson's are blessed with
This is the thing, he has to make a decision. His overall talent is not a question. His look is spot on for the 2020s. But he has to decide if he wants to do this kind of music or if he wants to work with writers like Babyface, Taylor Swift, Pharrell, and some of the others who, like it or hate it, crank out hit after hit. Maybe Jaafar loves this hard driving bass without a chorus crescendo, and that is fine. This kind of song might make him really happy. I respect that. But it won't get him to the levels his late uncle achieved. If I were his A&R guy, I would push him to do one upbeat pop number and release it as the second single.
@@hitman7s he doesn’t have to make your decisions to succeed. 😂 He can do whatever the fuck he wants to do because there is no written pathway to success. You create your own.

Michael Jackson lives! His nephew sounds exactly like him. It's actually so surreal. I'm so glad that Jaafar is gonna be playing Michael in his autobiography.
He HAS to perfect every mannerism and movement of MJ! The amount of times he will have to watch clips and watch every detail will be difficult to do. I knew Jaafar was the perfect choice since 2 years ago. It has to be organic as possible. I would definitely take some acting clases.

Our Funk (The Carioca Funk) actually is the base of the whole beat.... I said "our" because I'm carioca...and since music belongs to all ... I said our, no quotation marks this time ... Funk is too delicious...if you search for any Carioca Funk song ... you will love it. The beat comes from african percussion origins ... so the topic goes real deep.
@@louiswilliams984 ....first, I never thought you would actually reply. I could use some paragraphs to explain it but that would take all of your joy in finding it, in making your "homework" in getting to know more about the Brazilian Funk or Carioca Funk. Should I mention that this music gender suffer all kinds of prejudice? .... anyway... I must say that THIS funk style is original from Rio de Janeiro, which before this beat it was the "volt mix" beat .... There's a lot to listen to but you will also find the same answer when you listen Trap too much .... they start sounding all the same. The matter of this music gender is more cultural than just liking it just because one heard on the radio, party. I can't say much about Trap's origins even though seems clear to most of us .... but the Carioca Funk goes deep in Africa's percussion .... and all of us here in Rio, including myself, 95% of the boys in the hood can beatbox the Carioca Funk ... like this sample here. As we beatbox, another goes rapping freestyle .... Super normal in every public (guetto) school . th-cam.com/video/oOJHn60rsUU/w-d-xo.html ...and the many others, if you like it...I suggest that you go for it and get your conclusions as an adult you are....sadly you will find a lot of pornography in it. I'm not moralist BUT .... I care about people's (possible) sensitiveness and ..... showing you some respect. Obs: I'm musician and music producer. And I'm really not letting that get into my reply, to not influence you (more, I guess). And also ... If somebody reads this....I know damn well the difference between James Brown funk type and the Carioca's hehehehe ... I love them both. I produce them both.

Aquele funkezadinho de leves
This music video got me so flustered 😢❤, not only is he a good singer/dancer but Damm the guy is smooth too 😆
That unmistakable Jackson sound! He’s gonna smash playing MJ!
Those Jacksons....all so very soft/gentle/comforting speaking folk.
Just love that tone.
A modern Michael.
The real succession of the KING 👑 fresh cool and great new wave ...we need new thing like this. Voice like MJ beauty like MJ .....great Jafar
Mariam Rose his Father is Jermaine Jackson from The Jackson 5
@@kareemeverison .....euhhh i know his mother is alejandra. Im the biggest fan of MJ i know every detail of his life and family ;)
Mariam Rose me too I just have so much respect for all of the original Jackson 5 members including his father they started it all. I think jaafar sounds like jermaine and Michaels voice mixed together.
@@kareemeverison i think honestly the only talent in jackson five was Michael. His brothers havent a great voice.... juste good chorist
@@mariamrose8980 Nobody like MJ. Michael was a genius. But l think all of the Jacksons are talented; just not to the extent that Michael was.
This record is going to be even bigger in about a year from now.
I surely dont think so. It's mediocre, at best. Just because he has the last name Jackson, does not make him talented.. There is nothing fantastic, to me, about the song or the video.
@@RaymondBrown-p6jhe is talking how people will watch the movie and obviously he will start getting more mainstream, no need to be rude.
Jaafar should be the next breakout artist I feel we need a new era Jackson to be mainstream.
WHY?! So he can be crucified by the media, and pushed over the edge, just like they did it to his uncle.
Mr. Champagne me to I feel every era needs a Jackson the whole family is musicians.

Slow down there... u work for the industry plant organization don’t u?
Tony A. Doesn’t matter if he does or not we still saw how they did micheal
That Jackson Gene is strong. Has thriller Mike’s profile.

That’s what I was thinking!
And you definitely can see Jermaine’s features and her mother’s complexion...

No lie
Love it! All Jacksons are so so so talented with beautiful smiles and amazing cheekbones, I’m jealous 😍
Im jealous of his hair lol i wish i had a hair like that well to bad im bless with a michael Jordan bald head lol

Perfect Combo!
Good eye on Janet. I was just good on Jermaine and Mike lol
Way he is so smooth. I loved this. Jackson’s rock! In all generations
The Jackson Dynasty will never die it will stand forever!
My dude needs to make more music. This guy has the potential to be one of the biggest musical artists of our generation
@@hitman7s one MJ songs was just like this a little wym?
Yes he does

I can't wait to see him play his uncle! I know he'll be GREAT!
Congrats on landing the role of your legendary uncle, the great King of Pop! Can't wait to see you on the big screen soon...Much love!
Video reminds me of his uncle MJ video "They don't care about us" which was also shot in Brazil
Totally giving me TDRCAU vibes!
Definitely an homage to his uncle.
This video was also done in Brazil. In Rio ! Peace. ☺
Kareem Everison yesss I thought so too
Yes!!!! I also think 3:18 is a reference to The Way You Make Me Feel
He just has that Jackson essence and swag! His voice cut through the notes like butter. This was a beautifully shot vid! So reminiscent of MJ. Loved the dance moves.. I’m sure his Unc would be proud. And I know his dad has 2b. ❤️
I heard the song...for the first time...and I'm like who is that...its like a old jazz tune with R&B & Hipp Hop FUSED INN...I NEVER NEW IT WAS A JACKSON UNTIL I RESEARCHED THE SONG...THIS IS HOT"...IF THE ALBUM..HAS ATLEAST 2 MORE HITS ON IT...HE IS GOING TO DO WELL.. I REALLY LIKE THIS SONG...IT IS WHAT IT IS..**ONE#1**

The voice!! A star is born !! I was always in luv with Jermaine as well😂❤
All the Jacksons are good looking & talented. Jafaar Jackson is a natural- beautiful voice (sounds so much like MJ), got the moves and the rhythm.
OMG! He’s definitely got his uncle’s moves & that voice 😍 His look is a mix of his Dad & uncle. Strong genetics 🥰
It's like Michael jumped right into him... Amazing, I'm looking forward to hearing more from this young man in the future.
Now he's going to play Michael Jackson in the upcoming biopic you got your wish 😄🥰

Much love and support from Nepal. 🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵💝💝👏👏
Cmon! He sounds just like him. This kid needs to be knocking out number ones!
@@erikasilviamastermindinbio8408 he's not his uncle, damn... Maybe you're a michael fan but you need to understand that he will do what HE wants and even if he wants to do rap, he will do rap, because he wasn't born to be his uncle, his was born to be Jaafar. Y'all are cringe saying that he will replace Michael. He will replace him if he wants to
To bad his "children" couldn't play MJ in a movie. His 2 "sons" surely must have his DNA, talent etc...why do they have to go with his nephew....oh, is it because those children don't have the Jackson DNA [lol...smh]

I like how Brazilian Funk was incorporated into the instrumentation! Sweet!
Tio Nate Ingles Care to expound on it?
Super normal in every public (guetto) school .
th-cam.com/video/oOJHn60rsUU/w-d-xo.html
...and the many others, if you like it...I suggest that you go for it and get your conclusions as an adult you are....sadly you will find a lot of pornography in it.
Tio Nate Ingles Not surprised about the African origins at all
and the song has some south african feel to it, loved it!!!

Mudenge Mukundwa There are 8 other Jackson siblings that prove how ridiculous your statement is. Styling of ones vocals is not genetic, it’s conscious. I enjoy his music and admire his efforts to preserve his uncles legacy without ripping him off.
He is trying to sound like his uncle but I am not feeling it. He is a good singer with a smooth touch but nothing like his uncle. I do believe that Jermaine wants him to sound like Michael because he was envy of his brother success.
Exactly... he actually sounds more like his own daddy... who DID put out music too...
So beautiful voice. Jaafar got that MJ vibe in his voice.
