3:42 words fail to describe how incredibly breathtaking this particular piece is. Nobody compares to John Williams when it comes to contemporary classical music.
Thank you for uploading this. What I find interesting is Mr. Williams use of sextuplet pattern performed on the cellos and basses. For a dialog scene, this kind of writing is rarely done in modern dialog scenes (the motif would be enough for many directors). But Mr. Williams uses that very well to add even more tension to a scene that seems to slowly build its tension to the max with the true reveal of Anakin. It's these little differences in orchestration that separates Mr. Williams from the rest.
There is much more of this kind of Thing. Just search for John Williams score reduction or Star Wars Score reduction or whatever you want. There are hundreds of Videos like this by various channels out there.
I don't believe Williams was going for "backwards Dies irae" with that little string figure, I think it was just because it works well to build suspense. It's a very common figure throughout all music, you see.
Very nicely done! I look forward to more stuff like this. Would you be willing to look into Anakin's Dream from Episode III? I haven't seen anyone else analyze it on YT yet :)

Great work. Really enjoyed watching/listening. The more John Williams' transcriptions, the better. It'll make us all better composers 🔥
I'm glad you enjoyed it! I agree, John Williams is the master :)
Fanfare at 4:08 still gives me chills every time

It’s brilliant orchestration! Williams and his orchestrators really understand how to get to the emotional core of each scene :)
Eddie Karam on this one, but, his orchestrators works as copyist of very first range. John Williams sketches are very complete. @@jackyagerlinemusic
@@jackyagerlinemusic, Conrad Pope is a legendary orchestrator.
This is one of the coolest things I've ever seen on the platform. I would love to see more of this kind of thing! Thanks for making!
Thanks! I’m hoping to make some more soon :)

This was amazing Jack! Do you know where can I get/buy this score? I was looking for it anywhere but cannot find it.
What is the actual tempo value of this, not Adante? I can't find it online.
