@@thegratefulhiker Thanks for asking. I have had to modify a few things due to arthritis in my left hip but I’m sticking with it overall. I’m doing a little extra reps of the things I can do and extra hiking to make up for the couple of exercises that are painful.
Well, today was an easy day! I have been walking every day for the last 2 weeks, so in between rain showers today I walked a bit over 2 miles, and also enjoyed seeing the daffodils blooming along the trail!
I have been faithful following this program - it’s such a blessing that you offer this! Loving it and feeling stronger and closer to being ready for GSMNP!
Well, I kind of summed into that one. By the time I had to decide how I was going to get to a friend's house for a gathering today, I still had not received information for day 7. So, I thought I would walk to her house (32 minutes away by foot). It wasn't a hike through the woods, but rather a sidewalk situation in a residential area, but still... It is now nearly 6pm, and I am only now seeing the video for day 7 and have zero interest in working out, but voila - I did it! Sometimes even a blind squirrel finds a nut. :)
@@thegratefulhiker No need to feel embarrassed. These things happen! I just had a busier day than usual and was pleasantly surprised at how it all worked out!
Are you doing a walk or a hike today? Leave a comment below and let us know!
Scott. So cold here! I bundled up and did it and it felt great. I think I will make this a daily thing!
Awesome Leanne. Feels good, doesn't it?
Week one in the books. Thank you
Awesome! How have things been going with the rest of the workouts so far?

Enjoyed the fresh air during an outdoor walk. Grateful that the paths were plowed and minimal ice. Felt wonderful to be outside.
Nice one, Laura. Sometimes those winter outdoor walks are the most refreshing.

That's great, Michele. Where did you go for your walk? It's nice to see some flowers blooming in February!
Great day here in Colorado for an outdoor hike! Weather in the 40's with blue skies... #ImWalking
Sounds nice! It's a rainy day here in Knoxville! Going to do a walk today instead of a hike!

Wonderful! Nice work, Karen. I'm so glad you are a part of this. Do you have plans to visit GSMNP this year?
It's nasty out today so I did a 30 minute walk on the treadmill! One week down and feeling great ☺️
Rain ALL day. Way to get it done, Shelby!

BTW - It felt great! 35 degrees, refreshing, no wind. Got the blood pumping, and that makes me feel vibrant and alive!
Glad it worked out for you, Tracy and that you feel vibrant, despite my tardiness on getting the email out. Embarrassed 😳

With a sprained ankle this one was a no
Get that ankle better, Kari. I hope you're not in too much pain.
