Tripura's handcrafted bamboo bottles: Sustainable alternative to plastic

The locals are engaged in crafting bamboo bottles in Tripura’s Agartala. Tripura Rehabilitation Plantation Corporation Limited (TRPC) has arranged training for large number of tribal youth in making bamboo water bottles to fulfil the increasing demand. The process of manufacturing these bottles is organic and bamboo is boiled along with Neem, turmeric and other herbal items. These eco-friendly water bottles are gaining popularity.
