He ditched them, it's unclear what happened but Mattie bailed on them resulting in all the material they had for a new album with Fearless unable to drop due to Mattie having rights to the songs. Fearless sued for not getting their album, and FML was kicked off the label all because of Mattie. So they got a new guy and went to Invougue to write a whole new album.
Way better than Mattie could do. Mattie was only decent towards the begging of the band. When they released shadowalker Mattie could barely do a proper scream.
+Chief Juicy Lolwut? Mattie can do anything from high screeches to low growls, and he even has good cleans. This new guy (I forget his name) just seems like he can only do one thing: scream in one octave; which gets boring VERY quickly.

He could do them most likely even tho they where edited to hell but his technique was poor and was damaging his vocals also.
