When I first heard about Boruto I thought it was trash because I heard others saying that it was. When I watched the series for myself to see I was very surprised to see how good it was.

It's mostly because majority of western Naruto viewers were into generic fighting shounens. When Boruto hit with school-life and slice-of-life element at the first half of the series - they got pissy about it. But the beginning of Boruto is genuinely pretty solid, and Kara and post-Kara arcs we have now are so much better than what Shippuuden have been giving out for past decade. Is it the greatest series ever? Definitely not. But it is solid when you consider overall Naruto average (I would say: Naruto SD > Boruto = adaptation of novels = beginning of OG and Shippuuden > messy fillers and majority of OG and Shippuuden).

@@AceJojo10 Before you watch, look up a list for MANGA CANON ONLY! Because the manga only releases 1 chapter per month there is a lot of filler and "anime canon" which they call it, but it's really just filler. If you don't it makes the show almost unbearable to watch. But when its not filler it is amazing.

A lot of people really didn’t like the start of Boruto bc it was kinda childish and slow in the beginning, But that was only bc the show starts really peaceful, as it goes on the darker it kinda gets. I personally like Boruto a lot. You should probably give it a try.

I actually really liked it at the start 😭 was that only me? The fresh look the new gen was exciting and fun. Now I'm just worrying for my bois.
I’d definitely say you should try it out. It’s one of those anime that it needs to be based on your own enjoyment. It entirely depends on what you enjoy. But I will say this, the series only gets better.
I’ll try to watch episodes 1-5 maybe then we shall see

In terms of enjoyment of anime/manga its 10 but in terms in criticism it is definitely subjective and story progression its a 6 or 7 rating manga so its kinda slow cuz its monthly but its my whole opinion on it😁

Opening 10 had some of its scenes reversed to avoid copyright from the og uploaded I think.
Also not every opening reflects what happens in the anime. There is alot of anime Canon aka filler, some of its worth watching but skip over what is not recommended if I were you personally.
The animation from the openings can be just as high quality as the show but not all the time. It's an on going anime and not seasonal so they can't make every episode look 10/10

Ok as a og I’ll tell you the mark on Boruto is Karma by the otsutsuki clan the clan that kaguya was in. In the Boruto movie Boruto kill this otsutsuki named Momoshiki and before Momoshiki died he put that karma mark on Boruto to be resurrected it’s kind of Naruto being the vessel for Kurama but if the karma is 100 percent Momoshiki will resurrect in Boruto’s body

@@AceJojo10 yeah ig they didn't change too much, but a word of advice if your going to start boruto, there is a LOT of filler, over half of the episodes are filler i believe, so you might want to find a list of all the filler episodes if you want to skip them

@@AceJojo10 Okay so you dont need to watch the "anime canon episodes but I reccomend you watch the first 24 episodes whether they are anime or manga cannon, they show some important things, but after that you can just skip all other episodes and watch the manga cannon ones only

Boruto is good anime, hate* is from people who can't bear the fact that Naruto and Sasuke aren't main caracter and that enemyes in boruto are stronger

Endings is are much more descriptive of what series have become, cause openings for most arcs stayed very generic to fit changing arcs.
8:35 It's tail beast we already know. This opening is fully metaphorical and the monster is Ice Kyuubi representing Naruto's shitty parenthood (whole opening is about parenthood and how female presenting parents are goated and fathers are awful). Don't expect to see this fight in the series.
14:20 I believe it is reference to opening 7 and partly to some others, if I remember correctly. It's kinda shoutout to the artists - cause the same group performed for both of those intros.
21:40 It is direct continuation of Naruto - so animation improves. The most important fights have really good animation. Like I consider Naruto mid - but the art for Boruto surpasses all the other seasons, when you consider those few/multiple fights. It is a weekly series, but a 2022 weekly series.

Watched all of boruto plus the newest episodes just to say its mid 1/3 of its boring ahhh filer but decent fight scenes and a couple ok filler episodes probably a 6/10 openings are decent
