Despite the (understandable) expletives, the guy was incredibly dignified with his response. I can’t imagine what people would do nowadays. Makes me nostalgic.
That is funny as he was a market stall guy where I lived in Ramsgate kent, thanet and Dumpton he held his stall often, quite far from Croydon but its odd as my parents moved from Croydon to thanet when I was a kid, guess he did as well, strangely enough I now live in Germany lol. Usually not odd but the croydon thing, then thanet being where I saw and met him often and then Germany thing
@@progressivepath1995 The uk now is Angry, the pots boiling. Unfortunately due to piss poor running of the country I think we’re all at boiling point. 👍
I remember this one, it's a good one. "Should you have parked it there? It's a pillock's trick innit?" 🙈 The relief of that guy, hugging the great Jeremy Beadle ❤🌹
I’ve watched loads of these both at the time and now . The one thing I’ve taken from it is London was great place to live and had great nice people in it
I’ve actually tried with some. Unfortunately only the first two series were released on DVD, so a lot are VHS recordings which have been converted to digital and lost their quality further!
I still laugh at how people, even me and my dad still today refer to beadles about when not believing something lol. Example if my dad was in a carpet shop and they asked way more for a carpet than he expected or thinks it's worth, half way through he would say sumin like. Fk me you still saying that much, I've half expected Jeremy beadle to pop out somewhere, price is a joke lool .. jesus I miss the old days though so much
I have been running this channel for 17 years. I have been contacted by a large number of friends and relatives of people involved in these pranks over the years. You are certainly entitled to your opinion - but you are wrong.
Watch out, Beadle's about. Shouldn't really need much exposition. Pretty obvious what it means. One of the best shows on TV back in the 80s and 90s. A good laugh. That's why it's so popular, and why you're watching clips of it 30 years later.
@@Mark-g7t One of the best shows on TV?, a good laugh?, your juvenile standards of humour have plumbed new depths; Beadle was almost as irritating as Ant and Dec,....still don't know which is which though...
@@timothywilliams4089 What a cheerful soul you must be! Most of British public will disagree with you, but if that's your opinion, I'll happily leave you to your misery.

@@timothywilliams4089 Beadle was incredibly popular for decades, for good reason. You didn't like him it seems. But then, you're probably the type of person who doesn't like very much. After this, Elton turned to the piano
I remember this from when I was a kid, best prank ever

I went to school with Dave in Croydon..He joined the army after school and served in Germany. Really nice guy.

Oh wow ,you know dave Hughes
The best prank ever This guys reaction is hilarious
They should bring this show back. Of course it would have to be called Beadles Not About.
I LoVE this, and the GUY he is so Kind Hearted as much as It brought Lump to my Throat with his Reactions from start to finish.
For me this was the best Beadle prank, still remember seeing it for the first time on a Saturday teatime back in the day
Without doubt one of the best pranks ever. You can’t act that reaction…
The guy saying sorry for swearing shows how genuine he is as a person. I Hope he’s alive and well 😊.
Would this work in today’s world do you think?. I think ppl would be less naive now and/or more likely to turn violent quicker.

'Lost his van in the drink' 😂

Never one in Scotland 😂😂😂!!...significant!!😊😊
This program was a head of its day . Brilliant TV . Rip JB

His reaction when he saw Jeremy…DID YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS?!!!
Can't beat this show not sure it would even be allowed now, was the greatest
Jeez I remember this on when broadcast on tv
Got to be the most famous Beadles About!
Scarring people since the 80s 😂
What a lovely guy, would great to see the reilef when he realised it was all a prank.
My heart goes out to this poor guy ❤❤
That was a bit mean, the poor guy almost had a heart attack !
please tell me you have every ep of this series please
Sorry, I don’t 😕
@@coecluddwell how many do you have ?
First I was thinking: how nice to be able to go for lunch on a boat...then my thoughts went: Oh the poor man!😂
How didn't he know it was a prank when a giant camera was in his face...
Zero emotion in the prankers voice 😂
Best one ever 😂
It’s great he didn’t have a weak heart or it could have backfired
What a good dude .
remember it well lol
I wonder if it's possible to upscale/enhance these old videos.

@@coecludd Ah that is a shame, thanks for trying though!
Little did they know his dog was in the back
I know you are joking but they did reveal at the beginning that they switch the van for a different one.
😅😅😅
So he must have paid him the £400 to get it pulled out in the end 😂
You better watch out 'cos Beadle's about
They should have told him as his van was parked illegally they wont pay for the damage and hes got a parking ticket. That would have caused murder
I mean, He did stay calm
i grew up in these days when you could have a laugh and take the mick without there being a stabbing
Cause we were loyal dayle
Yeah nowadays they would try and sue you cause its affected their mental health🤣🤣
Who was the wind up guy
He was brilliant
I looked up cast but couldn't find him
Should you be parked there!!
Its going to cost you £400
Hahaha
At least you didn’t get clamped…

@coecludd how come Dave never clocked the camera crew 5 feet away then do you reckon?

They even had a close up of Dave untying the rope so they could set sale. Cameraman must have been inches away. Not acting though. Deffo all genuine
Elton John squealing like a pig.
This one looks pretty scripted tbh
