You are truly the man! Badass video 📹 I heard this song when my grandfather, great aunts, 1st cousins and my father! God bless you 🙏 😁😎🤔💯🍻🍸🍾🤝🤝👊👊🤜🤛👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍.
To me this is one of the best Songs by Booker T. Jones, Al Jackson jun. R.I.P., Steve the Cornell Cropper and Donald "duck" Dunn. R.I.P. Both gone much too soon. In Fact all their music is just great
I just learned how to play this it’s soooooooooo bad ass. Used to be my getting dressed for scoring ass downtown now I can play it on one of my many many many guitars.
Can i join too :D !! The fact the addiction of this marvelous tune is the well executed harmonic melody who wants you travel back in time all over again! :) We need a time machine in a hurry!
The song is absolutely special and outstanding - but your loop points are unfortunately not really, most times 8 to 12 milliseconds late !!! Every musician can tell you. If you still have the timeline: kick out about 10 milliseconds right at the moment where you looped it...
The greatest instrumental, and top 100 track of all time. They just aren't making music like they used to. This timeless classic is out of place nowhere.
In 1963 at 19 I was driving my 55 merc when Green Onions came on the Radio, got goose bumbs to their great Music and bought their albam Green onions. 80 now and still feel like that 19 year old driving my old Merc and listening to Booker T & the MGs. Got all their albams, all great!
I've being living in Barcelona since I was 13. Firt time I heard Green Onions was at 19, when a good friend bought the 45 rpm record. I'll be 80 in four days and I still like that song. It brings very good memories back to me. Very nice!
I love that very long version of Green Onions Such a Classic Rock and Roll song I love the 1950s and 1960s music I was probably two years old when this song came out 1962? I I was born 1960. I'm going to play this song again The other is to short I remember this song in American Graffitti What an Awesome movie I saw it when I was 13years old at the theater Love those Golden Oldies!!!!!!!!
Ooowe, This Was My Daddy Favorite Song 🎵 Yall, We Dance💃 All Over The House When He Would Play This Masterpiece, My Mom And Dad Would Cutt A Rug, Oh What Sweet Memories 💋Still Ta This Day" When I Hear👂Green Onion 🌰 🗣I Stop In My Tracks 👣And Shake A Tail Feather. One Time For My Mom And Dad❤❤
What memories when I went to a disco, La Barca in Madrid, when I was 16 years old with my girl at the time, there was always this music on entering. It's been 50 years now and I've kept listening.
I never got enough when it first came out, thanks for the look at my past. This song was the highlight of the weekly night at the skating rink when blacks were allowed skate.
green onions has been still up to even now my perfect memory of my momma I'll never forget as she taught us a dance that we bring each other close as a family when in unison we are all four moving with our mommas dance. I love this memory still and forever and even when my momma leaves this earth my children will carry on her tradition with this song. That's powerful and what a beautiful memory for me for I've always loved my momma. Patricia Ann Matthews
Memory of my grandfather I luv this song..I was just a little girl listening to this driving past the lake front in Chicago with my grandfather going to pick my grandma up from work❣️❣️...good memories
In the summer time I go to drag racing tonight I always play that song the only thing about this Looper God damn it put a commercial in the middle of it in the middle of it badass Booker T and EMTs but that commercial it's like getting like TV man you know you watch TV and you watch four or five commercials you forget what you were even watching sorry about that but the song is awesome
Grabado por siempre en la memoria desde aquel LP de Rosko Show cuando por primera vez lo escuché a los quince años. Uno del temas más hipnóticos del soul. Incluirlo en el repertorio de una fiesta es garantía de pasarla muuy bien !!! Sonido Motow !!!
This song was played in two movies I watched when I was young☘️Houseguest where Sinbad is driving the old beat-up car 😂😂😂 and the Sandlot when they are playing baseball☘️
scuse my french... but this track fucking rocks...timeless.. you could play this in a club today 2019 and it would still get people on the floor. nuff said.
At the other end of the length spectrum, when I was a little kid I would often hear only less than a minute of this song, as AM radio DJ's would frequently use it as filler when they didn't have enough time to play a full song before the news break at the top of the hour.
It doesn’t get better than this. Where has soul gone, It has gone to shit, thanks Goodness I grew up with the best, …thank goodness, Real music isTime less. Todays music is forgettable, 🌹
This is an excellent tune for doing anything, especially driving or having fun. Excellent tune considered the best instrumental of all time booker tea and green onions
Love it! Brings back a lot of memories...cruzin
Have been building drag race engines for 40 years. This song captures the entire industry. 😎PEACE OUT.
Learning the bass guitar (3+ NOOB) & recently learned how to play this, 3+ minutes, on beat, no mistakes. #smiles
One of the best instrumentals ever. It never gets old. Genius.
You are truly the man! Badass video 📹 I heard this song when my grandfather, great aunts, 1st cousins and my father! God bless you 🙏 😁😎🤔💯🍻🍸🍾🤝🤝👊👊🤜🤛👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍.

This song always makes me smile, because all I see is my pop & mama dancing. 🤣🤣🤣
What a beautiful memory!
Amen to that Ms.Elise..gotta luv this stuff straight outta Memphis..
Such a simple tune.
Just how damn hypnotizing this song is. If they had a 10 hour loop of this, I would listen to the entire thing, and that fact disturbs me.
You are not the only one, friend.
I would too
Z/md/ostwZ!

Back in the day, Al Jazzbeaux Collins used it as a theme song for his radio show on either KCSM or KSFO in San Francisco.
At the other end of the length spectrum, when I was a little kid I would often hear only less than a minute of this song, as AM radio DJ's would frequently use it as filler when they didn't have enough time to play a full song before the news break at the top of the hour.
