Bro any general tips on self-cuts? I gave myslef a taper for the 1st time yesterday and it actually wasnt horrible 😅 but holding the machine in a way that allows mobility but still allows me to see what im doing plus just generally seeing what i was doing was easily the hardest part to me. So yeah, any tips?
Honestly, fading and trimming the back is the most difficult things to do indeed.
My advice is just take your time. Cutting hair in trial and error. Develop your own technique on how to hold the clippers in different positions and also practice using clippers with your less dominant hand. It will come in handy.
I wasn’t the best at first but I’ve received good feedback over a period of time. 💯

well this entails my final steps! I had to use my beard trimmers to make a guidline because my original lm2033 trimmer blade is not strong enough to make a guideline neither is my beard trimmers but it sill gets the job done if i cut my hair and blend it right. I had to cut my hair because I could not properly set my guidlines because my sharpest blade is my fading magic clippers and I'm obviously am not using that blade to set guidlines... so i am buying some liners I'm not disappointed because i can still use my lm2033 trimmers to get closer to the skin without scraping it even though i cannot set guidlines with it I can use it for minor touch ups and trim ups. My magic clippers makes a perfect blend I just need something that can set that guideline line without it being so harsh in its shape connected to the hair or without it being so harsh on the skin!
So for now I will be rocking short hair until I order some trimmers that is specific for setting sharp lines.

I am very picky about tapers. The left side bottom of the taper had hair, I could literally still see the guidelines. I do not know why you constantly use sharp clippers to cut guidelines. It never gets those lines out. Under these 1080p cameras bro it shows and it shows badly
