$350 is quite a bit of money to me... U can get a pixel 8 for $1# a month on T-Mobile. By the way, this phone isn't for sale in the US. Even if it was it looks like the OnePlus 12r offers more in the same pric range with faster charging.
If it were truly available in the US (instead of through the developer program), it'd be in a pretty tough spot at $350 given the competition available. However, at $300 for the base version, it would be a bit easier to recommend. You can occasionally catch the Pixel 7a or Galaxy A54 on sale for under $400, but I'd argue that, even on sale they're not better deals than the 2a would be at $300. The 2a would crush them both in battery life and charging speed, and would likely feel smoother and faster in daily use, as well (especially compared to the A54). The biggest threats to the 2a in the US IMO would be the deeply-discounted Motorola Thinkphone that's on sale for $399, and the OnePlus 12R (also on sale for $399 with the any device trade). Sure, you don't get the glyph lights and unique aesthetic of the 2a, but you get vastly-superior Snapdragon processors, more premium builds, wireless charging (on the Thinkphone), faster wired charging, AND they both come with a charger in the box. Granted, the Thinkphone was $699 when it came out about a year ago, so it very well should have better specs. However, it's been $399 for months now and likely will be until it's sold out, so I'd consider it a fair comparison. That said, the 2a isn't meant to appeal to the same type of buyer as a Motorola, Pixel, Samsung, or even a OnePlus phone in the US. The only ones here who will buy it are the enthusiast crowd that are fans of the Nothing brand and/or want something different. The casual crowd won't even know it exists, which makes me kinda sad TBH. As a fan of the brand, I'm hoping it's a huge hit overseas.
