Makes me think of the dragon age games where mages had mp bars and the other classes had stamina bars. But that bar essentially did the same for all classes. Just changed color and name depending upon your class
I'd like to see you do a random run where you buy everything on sale possible and try to make the run work with what you get. Of course you could sell things that just don't make sense together but the main point would be just seeing what the game provides on sale.
You should try Busted Blade, Hawk Runes as many as possible, Gloves of power as many as possible. Dragons boots as many as possible. 1 dragon tunic with 2 or 3 badger runes. 2 or 3 fanfare. 3 dog collars. I call it the max damage 1 shot build. I have crit for 590. Basically stack empower, damage increase from gloves and crit runes. You even should take the forging hammer out of the build when not using it to craft an item so you counter shield builds.
Wow, that speed is crazy! Really good run! As a berserker main I do have some observations, hope you don't mind me sharing my thoughts. Keep the hammer in your storage unless you're upgrading. If your enemy has shields, the hammer can proc the stamina drain which can be a death sentence for weapon zerker builds. Get at least one, preferable two dragon leather armors. Yes you're doing insane damage once you hit 50%, but you have no mitigation and can get burst down in turn, especially if you get countered by a dark saber build with blind. And, speaking of blind, luck is critical to burster blade and double axe. Keep that shaman mask away from gloves and fanny packs, you want it eating your luck as slow as possible to keep your accuracy at 100%. You're not going to get empower reliably anyway from it. Conversely, if you know you're going shaman mask, getting a gem box as early as possible is key. Dragon leather armors have a whopping 3 gem slots, perfect for purple gems, and I like putting the elephant runes in there too to counter poison and blind bombs. You can also build a King Crown with it later on and boost your biggest purple gems or elephant runes by 50% with a big invulnerability period. Finally, while I love badger runes in double axes, I don't think it's worth putting them in bursters. They just do too few attacks over the course of the round to pay off. The 10% stamina use reduction, especially with a single banana, feels like a bigger priority.
Oh, and if anyone runs shaman mask and you get screwed on gem boxes to fill out your armor, grab coal! It has the gemstone label and works with the shaman mask. Plus the coal itself is never terrible in an armor slot.
Love your builds sifd!! your love of unnecessary inventory space still kills me tho hehe (21 unused slots at minute 13) PS: awesome use of the rng shields
120×(0.4×1 + 0.6×2.6)=235 You've got 40% to deal normal damage (hence, multiplier is 1), and 60% to deal crit damage with multiplier of 2.6 (normal damage {1} + critical {1} + rune boost {0.6})
60% crit chance with 160% crit damage is like saying you will crit 6 times in 10 hits and crit damage is 160% or 60% more damage which means that (6*60)% or 360% more damage in 10 hits. And generally 36% additional damage overall. example: if you have 120 damage per hit, in 10 hits you will give 1200 damage, 60% of that is a crit so that's (720*160%) or 1152 damage in that 60%, so the overall damage is going to be 1152(the 60%) + 480(the 40%) = 1632. 1632/1200 = 1.36 or 36% note: +36% overall damage seems small but that is being buffed by attack speed and other damage buffs.
if it's 160% per crit. But if it's +160% damage per crit, it would be 6*160 or 960% more damage in 10 hits +96% more damage overall based the description on the hawk rune, (+15% crit chance +15% crit damage) in 4 runes you get 60% and 60% so it's not +160% but rather just +60% or 160%. +36% damage overall is the right answer
No, it's not +60%. The Hawk Rune increases the crit damage, but even if it didn't, you would still be doing +100% damage from crits because of what the critting mechanic is. Think about what happens when a Ranger, who has no access to Hawk Runes, crits. It deals double damage from a normal hit, i.e. +100%. So with 4 Hawk runes it is indeed +160% damage for each crit, which happens 60% of the time. So that's a +96% overall increase to DPS, so 120 DPS shown from just attack speed buffs and empower is really 235 DPS.
@@xn85d2 okay, i thought the crit damage would be at +0% by default but it's +100% or 2x instead so it's +96% overall then. (That kind of mechanic is actually rare, most games doesn't provide a +100% crit damage by default because crit is OP, so usually you buy the crit rate along with the crit chance. Additionally, the percentage balances, like stacks if crit, to avoid a 100% crit chance they do the math like this, a 15% crit chance item with another 15% crit chance item doesnt add up to 30%, but rather it would just have another 15% to what is left, so the next 15% is based on the 85% no crit chance which if u add it up will only make a 27.75% - this is because of some game mechanic like "miss chance" going up to 100% miss rate which makes anything useless against it)
@@mherangelonunez7453 Yeah Backpack Battles does do the 15% + 15% = 30% way for a lot of things, actually. It's why blind is so strong. 20 blind is -100% accuracy, which is a win against most weapons unless the opponent has luck gain or weapons that start with 200% accuracy like Magic Torch. There's also the damage reduction from Dragonscale Armor as well which just directly adds up so you can get to 100% damage reduction during battle rage, and the enemy healing reduction from purple gems in armor which can also reach 100%. I'm not quite sure about what happens when red gems in your armor (healing % increase ) interact with the opponent's purple gems in armor (healing % reduction), however.

Have we all just accepted the fact that when sifd says mana it means stamina, unless he is talking about mana and then it’s actually mana?
he's helping us think in different ways xD
Yes 🤓
absolutely

my dude is constantly playing scrabble with himself in his brain with words and letters
Here's the math
120(1+0.6*1.6) = 235
1 is the base dmg, 0.6 times it crits, dealing an additonal 1.6 dmg
That would be the average right?
if you assumed he had a 100% crit chance it would be 313.82 DPS with the 60% more crit damage
312 dps assuminig 100% crit

Should also use the ranger with the class item for higher chance for items to be on sale and unique. I like this idea

i want to see an ice build that capitalizes on stone bag and the ice stone or whatever it's called
Ice stone is unique? It's super rare thus hard to build around it.

Why do you not make strong stamina potions? They give more empower. And usually more stamina than the banana

Cause god damn
New 0.9.7 smexy skin
You should try a fire berserker that you use dark lantern and instantly get battel rage
u should really try 1 shot busted blade with stone gloves. dont need to care much about stamina

what about a build with just potions poison potion defence potion and just all the others I always found it interesting
