You will work with Matt on the vocal component which includes body positioning, breath coordination, vocal cord approximation and laryngeal positioning on "The Wizard and I" and "Defying Gravity". You will also learn the secrets and vocal health regimen he has used over the past 16 years training Elphabas! Then we put it all together with embodying the character and everything you need to know about this dream role with our two guest witches.
- Emily Koch - Elphaba in Wicked on Broadway (Broadway debut) and National Tour. She is currently starring in Godspell at Berkshire Theatre Group (the first Equity approved production since March 2020). Emily also just finished a year and half long run with the Broadway company and the First National Tour of Waitress standing by and performing Jenna and Dawn.
- MK Morrisey - Elphaba in Wicked National Tour. She can currently be seen in Mean Girls: National Tour playing Janis Sarkisian. Favorite credits also include Joan of Arc: Into the Fire at The Public Theatre.
