Hi Di! One of the best explanations I've seen on reducing brush strokes. It does take a little practice and patience in the beginning, but once you get the hang of it, it's easy to do and so worth it! Thanks!
They’re beautiful! I thought you did a great job of demonstrating and articulating your method of painting with minimal brush strokes - so no worries :)
Love it Di, Fully understood the forward painting makes sense, I also love the bit at the bottom the legs have a perfect square just lookes so professional 👍
Hello Di! That was a great explanation of how to paint with minimal brush strokes. We haven't tried Pureco yet. Is it available in the U.S.? I am a big fan of Dixie Belle Silk and we just got some Fusion to try next. There are just so many out there. Your nightstands turned out beautiful. I am a big fan of that color. Thanks, Sherry
Lovely clear instructions. Plus showing in normal speed how to do brush strokes. Can I ask if you do get awful brush strokes do you sand it down? Being home all the time..( not good health) I was going to try.. for my sanity...x
Hi Di, firstly love your work for a newbie you are so good to watch and listen to. I’ve been watching lots of TH-cam to get the confidence to update all of my timber furniture but I’m a little confused on the process I thought that with Pureco silk and Dixie belle silk that you didn’t need to apply a base blocker primer but in this video you have just wondering why? Thank you
Applying a base coat is always a good idea to not only give your paint a really good surface to adhere to but it generally minimises the number of coats of colour you need to do as well. In this particular case I applied the base and blocker for the base part of the product not necessarily the blocker. 😊
Hi Caroline! Great news. These products are now being shipped from the manufacturer to th UK. Follow this link to purchase products from Pureco. :) xx pureco.com.au/?rfsn=6327602.73ba35

Hi guys. Thanks for the lovely words. Pureco isn’t available in the U.S yet but hopefully one day. It’s just gorgeous to use. 😊

Hi Karen, yes if I make a dreadful mess I will sand it down and go again. But I will make sure it is 100% dry.
