Saif's not doing anyone a bloody favor by being honest! After the release anyone can be honest not during promos when they have to sell their product they can't obviously!
Yup, this proves the man is really intelligent when it comes to analysis and unbiased opinion intead of biased favour. He atleast accepts things from audience perspective and want to turn the wheel and bring good content like everyone else.
First season was full of actions and fast paced story.
Second season was the story behind what all happened in Season 1.

2nd season was I think what really made sacred games a world-class series, I think Indian audience aren't mature enough to understand that, and I think saif was right that season 2 was a bit overwhelming for Indian audience because we Indians don't get to watch some good shows like this.
S01 was way more mature than S02. There's no rocket science. It was a bad season.

I loved the second season as well. It dealt with so many complicated deas in such a good manner and the open ended climax was brilliant for someone who could understand the question being asked of the audience at the end

Sacred Games 2 was good enough. Sadly it was trolled by "maymay" makers and instagram pages and was not liked by people who watched S1 only for nude scenes and explicit language. It is one of the best thing ever happened to Indian Entertainment. Itna accha thaa ki khud hi Gaitonde ban gaya apun.

He spoke very honestly on what audience expected in the second season
I like it that they explained most of the stuff in season 2. It is far better than a show like lost which kept piling twists. Those who feel season 2 was let down should not forget that there is still the mystery of why the protagonists father was the key to the bomb.
I actually liked season 2. It’s different from season 1 but everything from season 1 tied back in season 2 and it all made sense. Most of the questions were answered. And the cliff hanger ending was perfect.
2nd is more sensible with more hidden messages that's all

All critics convey their ideologies in their reviews. It is just that most well-known critics nowadays are liberal or left-leaning, so you hear the same language. Just recall how most critics panned Uri, Parmanu, The Ghazi Attack, or Kesari as "hyper-toxic nationalism", "jingoism", or "myth".

Mirzapur well far better than bollywood movies, doesn't have a complex story. characters are not developed..but is great entertainment! whereas in SG characters are well developed over time gradually. and they continued that complexity in s2 as well. because there weren't any huge twists and turns in s2 it looked a little blant, but the story telling and character building was on point. !

Seasons 2 was more international..
2nd season was absolutely excellent! It's not the makers fault if the mass audience was expecting some meme material abuses and scenes from Gaitonde. It is way superior to 1st season as far as story telling goes. It was non linear, full of subplots and probably too much for most.

there was 2 much of Sartaj in season 2. Where as brilliant characters like Ganesh & Guruji were given less screen time. Killing Ganesh & Guruji early was a let down. Portraying Sartaj as a typical bollywood hero was boring & cliched (he was ultra genius and always at the right place and time).

For me,season 2 was better than season 1, especially the last 3 episodes.Season 1 was all about unnecessary abusing,sex scenes and what not.Season 2 really picked up the pace,put all the non-required stuff like this aside and really focused on the story and the real 'sacred game' being played in the series.

I think both were good at their places. _Sacred Games_ is about not a bunch of stand alone episodes, so that we could compare which season's episodes had better quality, rather it's like having a part two of a movie, connected to the prequel. The story was just divided into two halves in the name of seasons. Good job on the part of creators. This show as a whole will always be remembered.💓
I loved the second season.❤❤❤ Way better than 2nd season! It was so surreal, and also the lynching scene with the dialogue of Batya, "Kya rakha hai is duniya mey bachane laayak"? The 2nd season showed the reality of our real world too! It deserves a standing ovation!

Season 2 is far far better than season 1... People have to spend their mind to understand season 2.
Insecurity of his less hair on head (large forehead) forces Saif Ali Khan to do Sartaj's character so that his head remains always covered with turban. Little did he understand the merit of Sartaj's character. The same insecurity forces Hrithik to wear cap on his head in most of his public appreances. Going against to Saif's opinion I wish Guruji(Pankaj Triphati) was given more time on the show.
It was very closed kinda , seemed like many shots were cut, due to court and legal actions

See I am gonna be honest here. I have seen S1 of Sacred Games which was awesome.......
And right now these days i am watching S2 on progress and I should say it's good too.
The main reason I think that people does not like much of S2 is because ismein dimag lagana padh raha h. It's not that easy to understand as it was in S1.
Gaitonde aur Guruji ki story is simontenuously going with Sartaj and Asram ki story.....
Aur bhi bahut kuch ho raha h in one go. I think that's why it didn't connect to people because S2 mein as a viewer aapko bhi dimag lagana padh raha h which was not that much needed in S1. I think that's the main reason why people think S1 was better then S2.

I liked the second season. I mean things had to flow in a direction, it couldn't have been similar to first season where lot of things were going on at the same time. It had to go deeper in a particular direction. I actually liked the climax scene, I would have problem if it was shown that he saved the city within a second before blast. Leaving the last part to interpretation, according to me, did justice to the story.

I really liked the second sesaon...i would rather say I liked S2 more than 1..it was like from flashback and the present in the correct way at a higher level higher budget bigger powerful cast etcc people just looking around for stupid bakchodi and sex in the movie would be rather disappointed 😂😂 (speaking from what I really observed) these India's should rather explore the movie and find what happens next... The story was good climax was also good and the bomb blast scene I literally had chillsss... The most amazing thing is the theme sound soo intriguing and kind of hypnotizing!!

Season 2 was on par with season 1. Kashyups comments made bhakts angry and they tanked the reviews n shows.
But I really liked SG S2 it's very engaging and gripping. Those who r expecting masala, item songs and nothing knew about story telling felt disappointed.
