I think any hotel in the area is fine for the nightlife, the only variable is the room quality and that really depends on how much you want to spend. My friend always like to stay at Nana Hotel for the last 10+ years when he come to Bkk.

in Soi 4, there are three great options IMO. Novotel, Dawin and Citrus 6. Depends on how much you want to pay.
