i believe the light weapon is an m26 civilian, mag fed shotgun fed by a charging handle, so light may be getting a mag fed pump actionish shotgun

Generally there’s gonna be alternative scopes for some weapons.
New medium weapon probably is a DMR type weapon.
That Medium weapon could be some sort of Scout Rifle. Hard to tell. I’m excited for this season!
Hopefully, it would give medium some much needed variety. However if it is a scout I do think there's a possibility that other dominant ARs in the class will get nerfs in terms of range to give people a reason to use this gun.
I believe it will probably be an M26-MASS (a pump-action shotgun for the Light) and a Kel-Tec SU-16 (a semi-automatic rifle for the Medium). For the Heavy, it’s almost certainly two Desert Eagles akimbo. In my opinion, it will be possible to aim in the same way as with the KS-23. I'm super hyped!

New map is confirmed to be called Fortune Stadium and has sections representing the 3 sponsors for Season 4: Issult, Holtow, and Engimo. So I don't think it's a variant of Seoul.

Yes, I do see there is a new map name. I'm not doubting that for sure, and they have added new points of interest making it a unique location. However there are more than a few structures/ POIs from Seoul in the teaser making it less likely to be a coincidence. So either 3 things could be possible either its a completely new map, they are re-using structural assets and pathways, or it could be much like SysHorizon and be a digital variant of Seoul with a new a name.
@@HazedNConfusedre-using assets, if they had to make all new destructiable assets, the third season would be a lot longer and most likely kill the player base they have right now

My theory: The new medium weapon is a scout rifle or dmr focused around recon and support. I think that embark maybe considering re- adding the recon gadgets to medium for a more supportive playstyle. Just a theory though😂

Considering embark is pretty accurate with their guns, the new medium weapon is way too small to be a dragonov. Definitely some sort of Kalashnikov adjacent weapon but can't particularly say which one for sure
Yea, a scout/DMR would make a lot of sense to add to the game. I really want it to be scopes to give weapons more variety, but if that was the case I don’t think Embark would just tease it on one weapon. Anyhow it’s all speculation till the trailer comes out, I’m super excited to see what’s in store!

I think in the show where all 3 stand together Medium weapon is some sort of AR. Mabey AR- 10 or an modern FAL judging from the front sight post. But all the other frames of medium holding a gun is an AK47 with a scope 100%
My favorite gun in gaming is the dmr from halo reach so im praying the medium gun is smth like that id be so happy

Someone please correct me if im wrong but the barrel on the medium gun looks very similar to bf4 aek.. and that thing was a menace.. either that or an ACE variant which is similar to/the offspring of galil, both similar to Ak. Doenst make sense to me that it would be an AKM..

Yea, I'm in between either new weapon or scopes. However if it was a scope on the AK wouldn't they show it off on other weapons (FAMAS for instance), it would be odd that they would just have it on the AKM.

To be honest I would rather them re-do more maps like this rather than getting something completely new. It would give variety to the game and allow them to fix any problems with older maps and by adding them to the new. I’m not a fan of re-using assets, but this is really well done!

They said that you can change sights, so at 3:54 what you are looking at is an Ak with a red dot sight. I doubt it's any kind of magnified sight. The new medium weapon seems like some kind of DMR. In the picture they shared under the "New Seasonal Content" part of it, you can see the new medium weapon in between the LH1 and AK in the top left.
Also if model doesn't get a nerf day 1, I honestly am going to be upset. They've let it be the most broken gun in the game for too long now. 2 shotting a med and 3 for a heavy from 20m while hip firing is not acceptable. Especially considering the damage is instant so if you play it right you only have to expose yourself for however long those two shots take.

@@_Sloppyham I'd rather get nerfs than buffs. Power creep will kill the game if they buff everything. This game does not need to lose half its TTK. Fighting a Model with an AK or FCAR is impossible most of the time if you aren't just in the complete open. I'd put money it has the highest KD out of all weapons in World Tour.
It may be a type of DMR. The community had been begging for one, so it’s high chance.

I don’t really know what to do with the weapon. It’s ttk is already lower than the other two meta guns (at least against Heavy), but it’s balanced by its ability to be used as burst damage and hide behind cover. I can think of a range nerf but nothing overly drastic.
I don't know what to say honestly. You must be playing in some bot quick cash or power shift lobbies if you actually think the gun is balanced. TTK means nothing if you don't have to expose yourself the entire time. There's more to balancing then just TTK on a spreadsheet. AKM kills heavy in 1.7 seconds but you need to have at least part of your body exposed for the entire 1.7 seconds. Playing around cover right with the model you could kill a heavy in 1.79 seconds have your body exposed for half of that time, while having easy to hit shots and no need to ads (so better mobility). If you are playing heal beam as well, you can basically get free damage by shooting and then instantly switching to heal, something you couldn't do with AK. Healing inbetween shots with the model basically negates the time in between shots while giving your team heals. Etc.@@_Sloppyham

@@Ava1ar asking them to change their entire plans for S3 1 week before release is just pure madness and a complete misunderstanding of how the game industry operates. In their latest blog post they say that S3 TA was a misstep, they are very aware of it, but you have to understand a bit how it works, what you wish would have happened would have been basically impossible
