We bought our villa on a resort on Poncianna Blvd which is off the 192 and also use the Oceola Parkway to get to Disney. We have timed ourselves and it has taken 9 to 15 mins depending on:on whether you get stopped on red traffic light- Our resort has 24 hr security and a clubhouse and resort pool with a bar selling food and drinks. We haven’t personally used the pool as we have one at the villa but our kids used to go there as teenagers. We always hire a car as like to go to other places outside the parks. We have been at our villa during a hurricane and you do get warning of it coming so you can stock up with food and drink etc. it was a bit noisy on the day but it’s soon over and the next day the parks were open. We keep candles at the villa incase the power goes out.

We stayed at story lake in November the location was brilliant t and we could avoid the i4. Def recommend to anyone.

Good places to stay off site our Marriott Grande Vista or Marrott Lakeshore Reserve. They have activities, great pools, pool bar etc and golf courses. Great for large groups., The hotels at Flamingo Crossings are great too much closer to the parks and most rooms have kitchenette and free breakfast. They have restaurants and stores right across the street and its 3 miles straight down the street from Coronado Springs and no traffic.
