I can' imagine how this game would work on a VHS, I'm guessing you would never see any of the death scenes... how could you?
You shoot the flashing targets with a light gun, and the gun registers your score. The actual VHS tape is not interactive; it plays the same every time.
They took the name 'Road Blaster' really literally.
