    It's best to travel alone. You don't need to be a extrovert. i'm an introvert and have traveled completely alone to 30 countries. It's the best way for me.

    Always enjoy these random walk about vlogs. When I get to BKK later this year I am only going to plan my first 2 days for arrival & last 2 days for departure. The rest of my trip will be totally unplanned. Look in a direction & head that way. Where I'll end up only god knows. You have inspired me Adam & Dan to give it a go. What could go wrong!!😳😜🤣

    Absolutely true. I had so many years of solo travel and its a great experience always. My friends used to ask me to go places with them and after the second time I did, I realized that solo was better for meeting locals. And if anyone is a musician, seek out musicians. Some of the best experiences I have had traveling was seeking out local music and customs.

    When in Thailand a month ago, I booked a private ride from Bangkok to Hua Hin. Only AUD$70 for the three hour drive. To my pleasant surprise, I got picked up by a lady driver. We chatted for a lot of the drive and also stopped for a coffee break. Said our goodbyes when she dropped me off at my condo but two days later she was back in Hua Hin and texted me. We went for a late lunch and then coconut icecream at the night market. A few days later I was back in Bangkok and we went for dinner at Terminal 21 and then the next day Japanese at Thong Lor. Unfortunately I was heading back to Australia the next day so we said goodbyes again. Thailand is just one of those places that you never know what unexpected experiences await you the moment you walk out your hotel door. I think the lady said "mi ka" when you asked for Pad Krapao.
    mi = have
    mai mi = no have
    mi pad krapao mai = do you have pad krapao?
    The "mai" at the end of the sentence often indicates a question.
    khun hiew mai - are you hungry?
    mai at the beginning often indicates the negative

    Great video and I totally agree - Solo travel is the absolute BEST - especially once you are an experienced traveller. No drama, instant decision making, you can choose when and when not to hang out with people, see what you want to see, and mostly - it is so much FASTER!! I don't think I would have been able to travel around the world several times and visit tons of countries in the past 4 years, dragging people along with me. Oh, and I'll give you a hint - you absolutely don't need to worry about it! That's when the magic happens and , the universe will always give you a hand. The world isn't dangerous, it really isn't.

I love how you choose to live your life on your own terms, and I love that you had the courage to take a leap of faith, quit your job, uproot yourself from your life and start anew. Bravo! 👏Truly! And now for the "But". But...have you ever stopped to consider how fortunate you may have been in travelling alone, wandering aimlessly and never having had any true misfortune? Maybe you have been lucky in not being unlucky thus far. Given all of the vlogs that you create talking up all of the "positives" or benefits of solo travel, perhaps you could create a vlog that showcases some of the possible pitfalls of solo travel, and what steps can be taken, or what steps you take to avoid said pitfalls? I believe there could be value for the viewers of you vlogs, such as myself, in understanding the benefits of what NOT to do when travelling solo. Thanks.

      Yeah man, lost plenty!! Lost 5cm around my stomach which is the big thing.. I can see it in my face too looking at the video.. (I spend a lot of time looking at myself haha)

      @@keisone this intermittent fasting thing really works , I actually got to the point where I thought I was loosing too much weight and I’m doing the twice a day eating ( 9am , and 5pm )… if I kicked it up to the next step of only eating once a day I think I would ending just loosing too much , don’t loose too much tho because ya don’t want all these girls in all these different ports thinking you have aids ,…lol

      I would say vibe is most important, look, smile and nod, say hello to everyone..
      See even when I was about to eat my lunch, I had that small interaction with the people on the bike.. little things like that go a long way in being liked/approachable 😊

    Traveling alone is a lot more of an adventure than traveling with a mate.

    • @rml4289
      @rml4289 ปีที่แล้ว

      Can you explain how?

    • @Hieronymous_Lane
      @Hieronymous_Lane ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rml4289 Lots of reasons, You can take a side trip without having to consider someone else's needs/desires. being on your own seems to make you more approachable. You end up making new friends along the way. You only have yourself to rely on. Being the only person around who speaks English means you have to pick up some of the local language. For instance I usually arrive in a new country and hire a motorbike and then pick a direction and head off on my own. I usually have no real set plans and can end up just about anywhere. I have broken down on the side of the road and had to either fix the bike or more often found a local to more help. Life is what you make of it, if you have a friend along you support each other which is fine but being alone is, to my mind, more of and adventure.
