- The largest battle in Mordhau history is finally here!
The project that started way back in April 2020 is finally finished! This is the result of over 250 hours of work in planning, organizing, shooting, editing, composing and much more. It has by far been the largest and most ambitious project I've ever tackled, and I'm thrilled to finally be able to show it to you all after countless of hours editing, reviewing, altering and revisioning everything. This is my Mordhau cinematic mantlepiece.
A big thank you to everyone who participated; prepared the loadouts you needed in advance, sat through two hours of acting and helped make this project a reality.
I can't thank Iodine enough for the awesome work he did for me on this video. All the music in the video is completely custom made by him, and he also did touchups on the audio. It could've never been as good without his help, and he's due a massive amount of credit for it.

You my dude, deserve worldwide recognition. I didn't even know the game existed, let alone an insanely good composition of combat moves unseen for a medieval game and music and field formations and good choreography. I sat this morning sipping my cognac, surfing youtube and what do you know, found something that impressed me a lot.

@@mornmorn4367 You get in contact with a certain mordhau developer, it usually is with a big event. The gold rewards I know have been this cinematic last stand, sacrifice which is another cinematic, and also a TDA battle called the "Battle of Ledir" (TDA is a rp server)

Of course it did, i've said it once and i'll say it again, if you have a solid shield wall that is crouched and spears or halberdier like weapons you are unstoppable.(edit) i read it wrong thinking the shield wall won, i still say a proper shield wall with people covering the flanks would win.

That was a pretty solid shield wall. Not as good as what the Spartans did, but pretty good.
Dislikes are definitely from the blokes who attended but didn't get that gold prize. On the real, this was some fantastic fucking work man. I can't imagine how stressful it must have been to organize this many people within a Mordhau match without it all going nuclear. You deserve way more recognition for this project - it is just a shame the game's media popularity has died down since release. Otherwise, this'd be at 1-Million views by now. Wish you all the best brother, and I hope you keep the ball rolling

Im not even a part of mordau's community, but I know it would be awesome to have that kind of serious events splitting in different teams being different clans. I know that woukd work cuz Im from a regiment (kinda like a clan) of Holdfast and dude, those guys have really nice serious events.

Just remember that spacing between horses is super important, the slightest lag or horse collision can mess up the entire formation and pacing.

Love the energy, the syncretized shield wall and spear lines. All the details and camera angles really made this a fun watch. Keep it up man. I love these mini stories. We really need a community film fest to acknowledge you guys who master the in game recording system

Mordhau is for fun only,it is a game based on internet's public,which normally are trolls and "funny" people who are always joking
Mount and Blade II:Bannerlord,Mount and Blade:Warband and the original Mount and Blade are more serious games and realistic on the strategic part if you are going to play on singleplayer,but multiplayer is even funnier because of the weird low-poly graphics of the game,so a lot of people make weird or stupid characters,and normally a server is just as chaotic as some cs 1.6 servers
Chivalry 2 is,at the online mode,the most serious,good,cool and realistic medieval combat you will get even on online

When the roleplay kicks in. Anyway it could be' cool some dedicated server for role play stuff for actualy do some strategic battle.

I'm honestly really impressed by the composition and directing of this. You took the games mechanics and used what worked to it's fullest while cleverly avoiding all that didn't. Seeing this played out in a hollywood movie would have been a breath of fresh air and seeing it here was a treat.
The in game animations held up for a machinima far better than I’d have thought. Amazing editing and loved the camera angles

Bro. That was legendary. Cinematography is so well done. Mordhau is one of the most frustrating and satisfying games I've ever played, and it's nice to see something that shows some of those epic moments in battle.
