Saved this mornings advent video until I had a coffee myself. Really enjoying them all. Thank you. The Abbey Gate Coffee must have been a good one, three gulps before the car! Lovely car today. I don’t have one but do remember these pottering about the roads when I were a lad! I look forward to the Me SlotR upgrade video in the new year. Great Christmas joke today from Mrs SlotR too. Well done to both and enjoy the Christmas cheese. Maybe a festive cheese and wine tasting video for the evening slot? Thanks again, enjoying them all enormously. Cheers, AW
Back in 1966 my dad, who was in the US Navy and had just been stationed in Holy Loch Scotland, bought me my very first Match Box car, and probably got me started in loving little cars, which was a blue, Ford Anglia. I still have it and if I could, I'd share a picture of it, as I still have it. 🙂
Good morning, Dave, thank you for all the fun with the coffee flavors and your input on how they taste we all love it maybe more than you do the coffee lol, have a great day, my friend🏎️🏎️🏎️🏎️
The joke was a ripper! I tuned the first scalextric car I have bought in a long long time today and like you it exceeded my expectation(bmw btcc). Dig the anglia! Cheers 👍😎🇦🇺
One those cars we don't know much about in the States, but reminds me of the old MonoRev NSU 1300 TT. Similar shape and high center of gravity. Mine would literally tumble over and over if you drove it too fast through the curves. Might have to pick up that Scaley for something different.
The Anglia looks to me like a category take and a match for the Scalextric Mini. These require their own high concentration inducing driving skills and so not much fun for anything much more than a 10 lap race. I am not sure whether these two models have been timed or raced together and whether there is much of a delta in terms of performance? It's not for me but maybe someone should?
Hi Dave didn't Doug like my joke about the snowman can y9u let me know if that is the case I hate to upset people regards Malcolm from Adelaide south Australia
Thank you, Dave and Mrs R. It has been fascinating listening to your background stories on your cars. You certainly have a good variety of cars.
Thanks Dave and Mrs R.
Nice little car, good coffee and a funny joke, what more could we ask? Cheers Graham🤣🍺🎄🇦🇺
I love that little car, probably my favourite this year, real fun to drive
I'm think strongly of buying that version of the anglia.....plans for new year 🤔 😁 thanks for sharing Dave 👍

I’m a day late, but get the reviews of two coffees and two slot cars and best of all two of Mrs SlotR’s jokes. Now to get to today’s episode. 🎄🎅
I wonder if glass coffins will catch on?
Remains to be seen 😳

Nice car today. I actually was able to guess the punchline for today's joke. It is one of the better ones!
Best joke so far! A*
