I had VIP 2 for Houston and I’m so glad I didn’t get send off. The concert wasn’t any better though because I was at the back of the left side of the stage. When they came out for Polaroid Love, A girl started shoving people down and trying to climb over me. I got elbowed in the head and another girl fell so bad she dislocated her knee. We ended up having to get security. There was literally no such thing as concert etiquette to the people around me.

Is your head alright? I didn't know that was the reason for the girl being in the wheelchair. I don't think I saw it because I was distracted..

They should organize it like a VIP with Hi-five or VIP with autograph.

i'm sorry you had to go through that : ( it sounds really stressful. i never had vip tickets or general admission before but i had no idea it could get this crazy (tho it does makes sense). i hope you enjoyed the show still!

After reading all these comments…my guess is that the workers are local. Enhypen’s company gives the general instructions, but the Toyota Center hires a company, that brings their own people to do the rest or the Center have their staff to sell the merch, secure the area, etc. So in one city the workers are well-organized and know what to do or who to talk to when an issue occurs, but in another.. the opposite is the case. Unfortunately, the Dallas experience was negative compared to the California ones.

Im so sorry to hear abour your experience 😢 As an older engene and also barely 5 ft tall, I've always been wary about buying floor tickets, especially GA. But I feel I miss out on the VIP experience, because its not offered in the 100 and above sections. I saw them in Anaheim and also this yr in LA, totally stress free, great riser seats, and with the big screens, felt they were close enough. I will stick to the risers and sacrifice being up close. Thank you very much for your video, and again, I'm so sorry for what happened to you. ❤

Thanks for sharing this! I am going to their Fate tour tomorrow in Chicago. Cannot wait! 🤗 I did not get the VIP packages. I am glad you explained the ordeal. It is good info going in for future concerts! ❤🤔😬

I hope in the future for Enhypen tours they switch to seated floor. I can't think of anything good about GA at Kpop concerts except being close (but is it really that worth it if the experience is so negative?)😭
I had VIP 2 seated and it was amazing not having to stress about lining up & having my own assigned seat

Yes, if I could do it again I would get VIP1 or 2 seated. Not ground floor. It was not worth it at all and it was a double edged sword that I wore heeled shoes because my feet were literally dying but I was taller than 95% of the people on ground floor so I could see. My friend could not see. We're both 5'3.
There were no personal boundaries so people would be screaming within inches of your ear and hitting you with their lightstick. A lot of times your view might be blocked by someone holding a sign in the air and you cannot clearly see the stage. Unless you're actually on the first row of ground floor, there literally is no point. We couldn't even get any merch because we had to stand in the VIP line FOR 4 HOURS. And then staff didnt know what was going on so they directed us poorly. How is that VIP? 😂
And then, we had previously gone to Duluth for TXTs concert and we had GA but it was seated and our seats were chosen when we bought them on AXS. Amazing concert BTW. Wasn't even VIP. And we had seen GOT7, it was in the stands. So this was literally our first time not having a good experience at a KPOP concert. (We went to Dallas) l

@@shara5985 I was in Dallas too! I also waited 4 hours for merch, which I definitely didn't expect to take so long lol.
And yes-- The staff was SO unorganized with where they were directing people. They made a line (apparently) only for Seated VIP and had not started to let any of us in until about 5:15, and soundcheck was supposed to start at 5:30. We were stressed tf out because so many people could not get through security in that time. (we made it to our seats at 5:32, and thankfully soundcheck started 20 minutes later) And also after the concert, I saw someone online saying they "accidentally" got into Dallas soundcheck and got the vip gifts and everything without having a vip ticket. That just further told me how well of a job the staff were doing.. They specifically were not supposed to let people with normal tickets in until 6 but they obviously stopped checking wristbands at some point. Good for that girl but I was mad seeing that because I paid extra for a vip package and I want that to be honored...

We got to the venue at 6:30 p.m. and had to park out the street because it would have taken us a long time to get into the parking area with the long line of cars. We went to Los Angeles and there was a line that was long and the security told us to take this line which was not long at all to check our bags and then checking in was so easy. Our seat was on the ground floor at the back. We couldn't watched the performances because when every stood up we couldn't see anything. So we watch the big screen instead. Last year we had seats on the second floor and we didn't have any problem watching all the performances even though every one was standing up. The only highlight this year was when Enhypen come down the floor and they come our area and I was able to touched Jay, Heeseung, Niki, Jungwon and Suno’s hand 🥰. I’ll go again when they have the next concert but I have to figure out where to seat and still see them perform up close. I'm sorry you had to go through all of that. Oh. Their was a video of Jay when they were doing criminal love and I think Jay was having a hard time performing. You can see it in his face. I think it was your concert in Houston. Thank you for your informations.

I had seated VIP 2. I had a great time. I'm glad you are making this video. Houston vip was a mess.
I did VIP GA for Yoongi's stop in Chicago. It was really organized and they honored the fan line. The line leaders worked with security and organizers and got the line on property at 10 am for check in. So, my sister and I had a good time. I only had to yell at one person for pushing me.
Also, I know we give Live Nation VIP people hate, but they know how to deal with kpop fans. Venues technically can't say they will honor a camping line. That is why they have to camp in the park. It is the line leader's job to be extremely organized and able to convince security to honor the fan made line. Stopping the numbering process was a bad idea because the line was not on toyota property yet. If it is unorganized off property, the venue can't honor it. And also the gate they were set up at was small and blocked in. There was supposed to be a separate line for VIP 1, but they didn't have space for it. Usually vip is at a different gate with more space for lining up. I've been to mutiple kpop concerts at this venue, and never had a problem bc it was seated floor. I hope they never do VIP this way again.

Oof venue staff and the company staff need more clear communication. I went to Dallas. Lined up at the venue at 3pm to get merch. Only 20 ppl in front of me, but a lot of people who got there near 5pm got in before me bc the line looped near the entrance and a staff opened another door which wasn’t fair but whatever. However send off is so messy and unsafe so definitely the larger issue :/

The security/venue staff were 100% the reason why this concert experience was not great. They didn't know what they were doing at all. The line outside not honoring VIP11 vs VIP2 was the worst part and so annoying and unfortunately I became one of those people who yelled at the security guard. It was so frustrating. I was VIP1 and entered late. They did separate me inside but this was after they confiscated my bag for being "too big" which I call BS on. For the show itself I was behind VIP2s. Further evidence camping is not worth it lol. Fortunately I had a friend in VIP 2 seated I could give stuff to after sound check. The way we were treated before send off was atrocious. The staff was yelling, people were pushing. Such an unorganized mess. I somehow understood they were trying to get us single file and ended up being right near the staircase they were directing us towards, and I definitely let so many people go before me. The send off room was so small and I was in the middle of the crowd and the small size did not make for a good send off experience. People were hogging barricade and ignoring membesr who weren't their "bias". So rude. Jay was definitely stressed and barely looked up. Jake was being a sweet heart and telling people not to push. I agree Jungwon Heeseung and Niki were the most energetic. Sunoo too was looking at all parts of the crowd. I missed Sunghoon because I was helping someone behind me get their picket signed. Ugh if I could go back and do it again, I would change so many things. But for the price we paid, we deserved a much bigger room. More organized staff, etc.

That’s why I hate the bad security system and when I’m concerts or events they don’t put seats on the floor tickets and that’s why many people camp outside and later on people fight to get on barricade or near, hopefully they can provide seats for the next tour or concerts

I've had VIP for other concerts, so as long as it's seated, VIP is OK. I went to the Dallas concert and had seated seats, but getting in was a mess compared to when I saw GOT7. It was three lines, and they had yet to say what the lines were for.Just don't do GA anymore and always go for seated. I'm going to the Chicago one as well and will be seated there as well. My only concern is merch. In Dallas when they sold out of the blankets, they didn't restock it once they were inside selling as well.

We did VIP Newark. My daughter camped 2 days and security did honor the fan line. The issue was once we were at barricade the engenes were absolutely horrible. Probably my worst fandom experience. After all that camping other girls pushed themselves in front of my daughter. By the third song she went from barricades to 5th row. I will never GA again. It was tye concert that almost broke me. Ny daughter agreed.. never GA again. We are attending K con LA, we chose P1 seated plus tickets. We both remembered the horror of Enhypen GA and agreed it was a hard pass.

Honestly the concert experience heavily depends on the fanbase and the venues refusing to accept the popularity of K-pop groups. I've gone to 30+ concerts, but never witnessed or experienced THIS. It seems like Engenes simply lack manners and have poor concert etiquette in general. People were snatching signed lanyards, hurting other fans, and even mobbing the group at the venue and in the airport. When it comes to K-pop concerts, the venues underestimate the turn out, but GA should always be seated because there are so many people. Send off needs to take place in larger rooms that allows the fans to spread out more which would allow more fans ton get interaction. Another issue is that some of these people getting barricade and send off for every show, are just getting it for social media content, so they do not care if other fans get hurt or cannot see the group. But yeah, never saw this extreme behavior at BTS, P1H, Ateez, B.A.P, etc.

I feel Western kpop organisers know that fans will pay a lot to see their fave groups so they can put minimum effort into the planning.
As a short person I've given up going to concerts where there's no seating and as for VIP, it's never as good as in Asian countries 😢

  • @PenelopeDuvall

it sucks that really only LA and Chicago were the good vip 1! I believe since LA was seated vip, and that there was enough room for (mostly) everyone to have barricade for send off. I think esp after that stop, since it was the first, people realized how interactive send off is and wanted to do more, which led to people leaving early during the concert and being aggressive. Chicago was successful as well since they had rules about leaving early + enough room. I'm really bummed the other dates didn't have good send off experiences :(. I hope in their future tours they still have it, but have stricter rules regarding send off and larger send off areas.

The organizers were definitely unorganized. Like come on, this is not their first rodeo of organizing a concert. Plus, the concert had been announced months ago, so I didn't understand why it was so unorganized. I went to the LA concert, and it wasn't as bad as yours. Sorry you had to experience that. Next time, just don't buy any merch even if you really want to because waiting in a long line when it's hot is not worth it, plus they will probably sell it inside for VIP. Luckily, LA VIP sections were floor seats, but if it wasn't, I would not have gotten it and just got upper seats instead. I was VIP 2, but girls I met at the hotel that were VIP 1 had a great experience at send off. I think if the send-off was outside, where is cool and open space with barricade, it would have been better.
