Love Ikon pass fails, one of my favorite things to see. Black out weekends remind me of a time when these passes didn't exist (and before vail bought everything) and when the canyons weren't nearly as crowded..... Signed, season pass holder.

@@JohnathanBuckhouse strange you go to steamboat with a snowmachine to ride resorts " i don't know we're blacked out" next time play the i.m.a pro card.... free lift tickets
Ohhh. Yeah, that's right,.... I bought the full IKON pass to avoid the blackout dates.... Well, my daughter told me that in Colorado a lot of the resorts have changed their pricing program to one of Supply & Demand so that the price for a full day lift ticket will fluctuate just like airline tickets on SWA. That's crazy!! Who the heck wants to pay $260/day for a ticket at any time. Crazy! Ruining skiing & snowboarding for everyone.
@@dragsterguy21 Vail has massive lift lines whether it's $50 or $250 for a ticket. They should just allow for new leases in Colorado and we wouldn't have this issue. Vail would probably build another resort or two just in Summit County if they were allowed to.

Epic gives you 50% off day tickets on blackout days. Also if you own a lesser pass like northeast value, they will give you 50% off on day tickets at any Epic owned resort. Too bad they are neglecting wildcat this season.
$260 and I bet they pay their employees a few dollars above minimum wage... one lift ticket will cover like 2 and half staff members pay for the day, that is outrageously greedy!
I live in Chicago and was trying to plan a ski trip to Colorado this season. I'm wondering, are all these top Colorado resorts (i.e. Copper, Breck, Keystone) that expensive for a day pass?? $260 seems absolutely outrageous and worries me a bit considering I planned to go to at least four different resorts
I went to copper earlier this season, and I think I paid about $500 for a day pas for me and my wife and a room for 1 night in one of the condos. I got a bundle on their site so they discounted the lift tickets a bit. Current prices are like $99 for a Thursday, $189 for a Saturday, $179 for a Sunday
@Adrien Brown Great looking out man! I never would have originally known, I've always wanted to go to Canada too! I especially like the fact that the tickets are much more affordable, plus most likely less people which is always a plus. Thanks so much for the advice man
@@mintyfresh2424 All of your choices are pretty expensive, doesn't mean they are bad resorts if you can afford it though. Most of them aren't $260 expensive but more like $145+ expensive. And for Vail, well, I've heard a lot of bad stuff about Vail but if you want to go there I'm not gonna stop you.
