This beach day had a very strange atmosphere for me. On the one hand, I was tired and lay down on the beach with a book, and on the other, the sky was getting darker by the minute.
I watched the lifeguards having a friendly chat. I watched the other tourists moving slowly like turtles on the beach or staring stoically at the open sea.
Planes with new and old vacation guests flew by above me every minute. A constant coming and going on this beautiful island, which is causing more and more problems for the natives themselves due to mass tourism, such as expensive rents, expensive housing, traffic and pollution.
