ZonaShue I can't believe I missed this. I can honestly say without sounding bias, euan (second to john Cameron) is my favorite hedwig. It's the cadence of his voice. The same thing with Tim curry. If you love hedwig you're taste in music generally must be great. I sang wicked little town (not the reprise though) for karaoke the other night. Something about singing those words out loud in a little town with no direction, somehow I could feel exactly what Hansel/hedwig felt. Of course there has to be a love interest. I find hedwig once more after all these years. It just improves with age. I'm droning on now...lol
Jacob Smith I saw all the Broadway videos of every Hedwig and going to thus show I thought "I hope Euan will be okay". Boy was I blown away! I agree with you that after John, of course, Euan is amazing. His layers of Hedwig were perfect. I loved his version of when Hedwig walks away and can't sing Long Grift. He did it his own way and stormed off and threw the wig down hard. I really liked that 💜
ZonaShue wow! You're awesome. Hannah's version of long grift is probably by far my favorite. I love Stephen Trask, but the vocal prowess of Hannah makes the song her own and much more beautiful for that reason. Not that hedwig will ever be irrevelant, I think that somehow euan and Hannah made the songs more relavent for the time we're living in. It's really beautiful to hear these songs with where I'm at in my life. Haha I digress.
These are so amazing. I watch them everyday after work. Wicked little town always has me sobbing uncontrollably.
