I just brought the nova viking I could not get it going.my sisters friend found what was wrong drill press needed resetting.now iam happy it's very quiet very nicely made to.

What is the height of your benchtop?

Can you do rapid repeatable drills with the depth stop set? I make products that have a 30 holes that need to be drilled but not all the way through the board but I need to be able to have the depth stop set and then to go from drilling one hole to another.

You can set the „normal“ depth stop (the Ring on the handels) and use the maschine as normal drillpress.

probably all chucks have some runout on the outside , its only reall, important on the inside , the outside is only cosmetic basicly

@@Basement_CNC Hi Felix, i use Röhm or Albrecht m.i. Germany morse taper precision drill chucks with max. 0.05 mm run out.
