Yeah I thought the same. I think it was too much trouble to include that character with a hook hand in-game. But it adds so much character. Oh well, I’m glad we got to see him in LR2. 😁
Oh yeah also in the timeline of adventures that means oreint exposition takes place after dino island and then dessert when he got curse by a mummy named huptup and it was a whole set pretty cool@StudframeAnimations
@@StudframeAnimations You could argue its a misspelling but since this guy has like a million different names to the extent even Lego Island 2 made a joke about it, this could be hand waved as "Oh he's changed his name again"
Looks great! What always confused me about LR1 is that not only was this dude called Baron von Barron, but there was ALSO an npc racer with a black top hat called Sam Sinister who wasn't even racing in his circuit. And that different character was also called Sam Sinister in Lego Football/Soccer Mania. Really weird
That is actually a really convoluted subject, VezonWireless here on TH-cam actually made a 1.5 hour long video going deep into the subject. The video is called: "Sam Sinister Switcheroo: The History of LEGO Adventurers Names"
Immediately knew it was sluggers music! This is such an underrated channel everything you make is incredible. Keep up the amazing work hope this channel blows up!
Ah yes It's Baron von Barron. What? Now he's Sam Sinister? But Sam Sinister was someone completely different! And thus the mystery went ever deeper and deeper for all time.
In the game, he is known as Sam Sanister. Also I think his introduction should be more akin to his introduction in Lego Racers 2: "You may have beaten those poor fools but I think you will find me much harder to beat! Let's Race!"
Yeah that has to be a typo from the developer right? 😜 I found that quote strange because you also race against Mr Cunningham, who is his partner. Sam Sinister is an evil villain of course but that doesn’t make sense to me.
Thank you so much! Yes, in the official set and in LEGO Racers 1 he has the hook hand. But in LEGO Racers 2 he doesn’t. Not sure why, but I thought it was best to stay somewhat close to the game. So that’s why it’s a normal hand. 😁
I've been playing it for a long time since I was really young, but this is a fact that I had no idea about. If it were me, I would have implemented it that way. Perfect video!@@StudframeAnimations
Really Cool Channel, My Friend! It Definitely Takes Me Back! Now are you going to do a build tutorial on the Town Racers on Sandy Bay? (Workman Fred, Postman Mike, Fireman Gavin, and P.C. Bobby) That’d be a cool idea.
Thank you so much! I’m glad it brought back fond memories. I could do that. I’m just not sure if there would be enough interest in those builds from other people. But I can always put it on the idea list. 😁
Curiosity on this car: it is the only car whose brick amount surpasses Lego Racers 2's builder limit.
Ohh really? So Sam Sinister cheats while racing but also during the building proces? 🤯
@@StudframeAnimations Indeed! I did try to rebuild his car once, and I was always a 2-3 bricks short.
@@discozyliath7869 Ahhh, that’s really annoying. Just a few more bricks would have been nice.
I do believe the postman's car also exceeds it
@@douwedollar Yeah that makes sense. Riegel’s mech also. 😜
At first, I thought Sam should have a hook hand. Looks up game footage, fair enough.

I've always loved this model, one of my favourite Lego car designs! Great animation, as always
@@mrhumbuck_ Thank you! Yes this design is super iconic. Still love it today! 😁
The deal that Sam didn't have a hook hand in Lego Racers 2.
"Boy I really hope somebody got fired for that blunder"
His name was also misspelled in the game. Something was going on during development. 😜

@@robonaught Could be true. It’s a big mystery that keeps the community confused. Anyway, to me he is still Baron von Barron. 😜

Yeah LEGO seemed to go in all directions with those two characters. Not sure why that is, but it adds soms mystery to the LEGO lore. 😜

The RR Slugger music works well here!

@@topazlynx2228 Yes! We will never know the true name. 😳
I wanna see the behind the scenes where all the bricks are in the air before they are put onto the car lol
It looks a bit odd yes. 😂
I could make a behind the sense community post to show some stuff. It's mostly weird floating LEGO bricks and minifigs.
Oh yeah, I even rebuilt it in *"Lego: 2K Drive"* After a video tutorial.
It can be known as the *"Lego Island 2: Brickster's Revenge"* default car.
@@TyrinOConnor-Cherrington Cool! I notice a more and more people rebuilding these cars in 2K Drive. So happy that it’s possible. 😄

But I now have.

My favorite boss to race against in LR2!
Yeahh the oil spills put a fun twist on things! 😁
It's too bad Johnny had a minor role in the game, the player could have helped him beat Sam Sinister

hell yea
Hope you liked it! 😁
Do Berg next!!!
I thought about that. But the how to build section will be quite short. Also white LEGO rock monsters don’t exist. 😜
Any chance you could do animations of the Xalax Racers from Lego Racers 2?
Don’t think so, those cars only have 3 pieces in total. I may do animations about them at some point. But not in this series I think. 😁
This is a really good video! One extra thing is that his left arm is a hook.
