We're also talking about a guy who's not only a very great driver when fueled with competition but has been screwed by the officials who decided to throw out the rulebook out the window in this one important event. With all of these factors combined, you will get a very deadly weapon on the track this season.

Sebastian and Alonso for example prefer a car with a more rooted rear end whilst the likes of Verstappen and Leclerc prefer a more oversteery balance. Setup is particularly important at a track like monaco. To be more specific the setup Hamilton wanted to run would have burnt the tyres so Mercedes had to make a compromise.

It's a championship battle, you should not risk a puncture for one position.
