    I can't believe you don't have more subscribers! Maybe it's a niche market, but I'm so thrilled I found your channel because I felt like I wasn't finding this kind of content anywhere else! This is exactly what I was looking for!

    Wow so that’s how they did the flat before curl look, clips!!! This is wonderful they must have spent hours doing this before electric rollers and curling irons! Takes a long time even with them! Beautiful look and makeup too!

    Gorgeous set, your hair looked beautiful. I wish I had known how to do pin curls when I was younger and had long hair. I would try to sleep on curlers and couldn't tolerate them very long and would be taking them out all night. I didn't get a very good set in my hair. I have short hair now but I do love to watch your hair tutorials.

    Laci what is your natural hair color? I think strawberry blonde color would look beautiful on you. Why don’t you try that color?

    Is it ok to use different sized irons for different hair?

    • @LaciFayTheVintageGirlNextDoor
      @LaciFayTheVintageGirlNextDoor  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I suppose you could, but if anything I would go smaller. Vintage hair needs a tighter curl. If you use too big of an iron you won’t really achieve the right type of curl.

    Why don’t you ever see people with this hair color irl? Reminds me of welma from The Flintstones and Meredith from the office and Kate McAllister from home alone. Why is this hair color not seen anymore instead of those weird neon colors these days? I’m curious someone explain 🤔

    NOOOOO! If your gonna go retro, old school, vintage then you gotta do like they did! USE THE HAIR ROLLERS OR STRIPS OF CLOTH TO CURL YOUR HAIR OVERNIGHT! THIS IS CHEATING. THIS TELLS ME YOU COULDNT DO THE HAIRSTYLES AT ALL? Is it really that hard? I mean if you want it to look real and have that “texture” then you gotta do it the right way! NO HEAT. TOO MODERN!

      Doe John I do have several videos on vintage hair using a wet-set. I use roam rollers, pillow rollers, pin curls, and just filmed one using rag curls. The purpose here is to show other ways to get the style. A lot of ladies just getting started in vintage style are a bit intimidated by wet-setting. I like to give a lot of different options and they can find what works best for them. My preferred method for my hair is wet setting using pillow rollers.

      Yes! What a relief! I thought you preferred this non-accommodating method! Okay then thank you for answering correctly, good day to you!
