If you mean his lvl.3, "Gamble of Darun", I believe that is escapable. Though as good as the training mode for this game is, they do a terrible job of properly explaining how that super works.
Oh, right. These are all showcasing combos without Excel of course, but yeah most of the cast have 100% combos with Excel. I think there's only 5 characters in SFEX2's Maniac Mode that don't require you to K.O. the opponent in one combo.
