As a retired U.S. Army Public Affairs Soldier, I respect the work that went into this and love seeing how our cousins across the pond work. I got a good laugh out of the end credits where you thanked the fog!
As a filmmaker I loved the fact that it was supposed to be a bright sunny day (but the military know that no plan survives contact with the enemy or the weather!) However, I think the fog gives it a much better look. It could have been any barren hillside anywhere in the world in the morning mist. Something familiar to any of us who have served.
My father would have loved this. He was a serving soldier in WW2 and loved his life in the forces. He was a great fan of forces bands and yes would have loved to see you and listen to the most amazing voices you all have. I have many happy memories of sitting in the front room listening to bands from our wonderful armed forces. X
When I watched this video, the first thing I said was: "It's so cold that I felt the fog, the cold and the damp rising up on me. How must the actors have fared?" My sincere thanks for the look behind the scenes and especially to everyone who was involved in filming and presenting the song, no, the anthem. You're giving me a great present!!
That was beautiful. I love that song ( and Jerusalem). When I first saw the start, I thought it was a fog machine . Seems a lifetime ago when I wore the uniform. 80/90s . Young fit thin 🤗 memories!! Gr8 video ❤️
And that’s why they are the best! Amazing production and professionalism from the whole team involved in pulling that off 👏. The attention to detail is amazing. Absolutely epic stuff. And those vocals ♥️
Well done cousins! Half a Brit here in Florida. It was nice to see how this dramatic piece was organized. Very beautiful ladies and a handsome young man. All of them warriors and in service to your country. Stay safe.
Lip synch? The recording sounds much too polished for this location with wind and just a drummer. Nice studio work though in integrating all the performances.
They probably did what they do in movies and tv shows where they actually sing but is replaced with a studio recording post-production that way the lips and emotions of the singer are correct and on point with the hymn its the same thing they do with actors and that in tv shows most of the lines you hear in the shows are recorded in a sound booth.
@@derektaylor6389 what they did was they sung the hymn on location but swapped out the audio in post production that way the lips match up, its done in almost all productions that way you get the visuals but also get the perfect audio quality too its extremely rare to find any professional productions use the sound recorded on location and as Jack pointed out the audio is just too polished even if you edited the fuck out of it the audio still wouldn't sound as good as it does.
The mist gave such a magnicent backdrop to a powerful anthem.
The drummer/bugler, in the final version, stern game face, but in this video you see her lovely smile! Beautiful!,
WOW !!!! she looks fantastic in that uniform
Till today, I thought that the fog was made by the computer graphics. Now I see it is a real fog... Great job and great song!
The queen will always be in the spirits and live forever 💝💝💝💝💝💝
It's lovely to see the drummer smiling, she's totally professional and straight faced in the video, but she has a softer side as well
A beautiful singer with an amazing voice

So in love with the singer. She's beautiful ❤
Great singers and filmmakers this should be on mainstream TV
And that’s why they are the best! Amazing production and professionalism from the whole team involved in pulling that off 👏. The attention to detail is amazing. Absolutely epic stuff. And those vocals ♥️
How has this not gone mainstream?
Nice Move, greetings from Bavaria Germany 👍

Just fantastic - loved it!
I would never have guessed where this was filmed. Kingley Vale, Hampshire, looks like the Hill fort or Burial Mounds in cloud and mist.
A foggy day in the UK you can’t beat it
So Beautiful❤️❤️❤️❤️Salute to the Royal Air Force and Marines❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Even up north in Iceland you really made it, !!! Really good show girls an others in this. !
My father served in ww2, sadly died from injuries after the war when I was a kid, this reminds me of what fighting for your country means.
Beautiful
Wonderful!!!!
Royal marine simple the best
Well done!
This should be our national anthem...in my opinion!!
I believe Bugler Stead, now a Lance Corporal, was one of the buglers at HRH Prince Philips funeral.
They were perfect there as well!
Yes, she was on left, 2nd bugler.
And band musician Sam Mclndoe has been promoted twice too Corporal as seen in the 2021 MBFM
Wonderful and very moving
Love the good humour.
Very good
Can you do a similar video for Jerusalem and Land of Hope and Glory?
Never heard this version,. Where can I find the lyrics?
Needs to be the UK national anthem
Canadian here...that one time in Afghanistan....FPF this LOC... Fixing bayonets....God Save the Queen...Out. This reminds me.
Yes God bless the royal marines
I hope you got them a brew or two for the mornin'.

this was not lip sync it was live

@@derektaylor6389 you can hear the wind in some of the clips that would ruin any audio they recorded there.
