    I've been on the fence on whether or not I should try drum designer. Your video convinced me I should check it out.

    Nice tut!, I've only used a sequencer in one song. this is very nice and encouraging with logic updates to use it more.

    Good stuff! I've been experimenting with the step sequencer and using convert to midi then separate by note pitch to get separate regions but I like the way you did it too...not sure what's quicker yet

    If you keep the lane in a 1/8 or 1/16 division etc. You can then use the "tie" feature (ctrl+opt+T) to get triplet note divisons without having to split up the regions. Just thought I'd let you know!

    • @danielpashman
      @danielpashman 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh, and then set your repeats (ctrl+opt+R)

    • @SeanDivine
      @SeanDivine  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      👀 those shortcuts aren't the same for me, tie is definitely another way to do it though! Nice one!

    This is 🔥🔥🔥 Sean. You did a tutorial on the Nerve Plugin which is $200 bucks. Does Logic 10.5 now do the same thing? So buying Nerve is fairly unnecessary...?

    • @SeanDivine
      @SeanDivine  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      thanks! I'm still using Nerve as it has a lot of processing / workflow enhancements that are very unique to it... that said, this Logic update definitely provides similar capabilities with the note repeat and sequencing options. Also, the routing here with the mixer is more convenient as there's no setting up multi outputs, bouncing in place, etc. 👍

    Do you think they'll add an option to switch back and forth between a pattern/sequencer region and a regular midi region? This would be useful if you need to make changes later.

    • @SeanDivine

      right click the sequencer region, select convert to midi :)

    How do you set the output to your Drum Machines individual tracks to mono? Say I want my kick drum in mono. Is that possible using the Drum Machine Designer?

    • @southhour5241
      @southhour5241 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Force the channel to mono by putting a mono plugin on there. Make a mono channel and create an EQ or whatever FX and drag to the required channel then delete it.
