I'm thinking there is a slight error with the oils? You infused chamomile leaves in rice bran but then you said the infused oil was almond when you were adding it and then you added rice bran oil to the mix.
    Looks lovely regardless though! ❤

Hi Ellen, love your videos. ❤ Just wanted to let you know that Formula Botanica says to use a 70/30 alcohol solution for sanitizing because the 99% evaporates too quickly to be effective. I guess more is not always better. I certainly was surprised.

71% alcohol is actually better for sanitizing, because it has the correct ratio of water. 91% does not, so what happens is the alcohol evaporates before it kills the germs. Intuitively, we would think that higher percentage would be better to kill germs, but this is not true

    • @EllenRuthSoap

@@EllenRuthSoapEsa información es correcta, de hecho el alcohol al 70 % por ciento es el adecuado para desinfectar mucho mejor que el de 96 % aunque parezca contradictorio.

Thank you for the recipe!! Please do not use essential oils from Amazon without doing your research. It takes about 11pds of fresh lavender to make 1 ounce. I doubt that this is pure lavender. Maybe not the best choice.for a baby
