💃I thrifted the deep green colored Talbots blazer with gold buttons (It's def quality and vintage. Yes I did watch your quality video LOL) . I can't wait to finish the outfit. Thanks for this video. I've been working on honing in my style and your content is very helpful!! :)
Laura another cool video love this topic vey interesting with the history behind color theory and Pantone 💕btw loving your long hair ! Liking forward to your next videos for fall tho it’s still summer here in Lv 😢 😂🍃 🍁 🔥
💃 Trends are a fun time but I never buy (or pass up) an item on that basis alone… I’m a huge fan of jewel tones for my own wardrobe. My last two additions are a burnt orange colour. 🧡
I feel the same way. Although I am now mentally on the hunt for winter sky at the thrift store 😂But they never fully influence what I end up buying. I do find the entire process fascinating though. Even if I’m mostly buying it at the last stop (the thrift) I’m never not researching how it starts. I love seeing the bigger picture.
Winter sky is my fav!! I love cool tones and they work best with my coloring. Several years ago, the gentleman sitting next to me on a plane flight worked for Pantone!! It was so cool to talk to him!! I’m from Alabama and sound like a hick (I’m not lol), but he was so impressed that I knew the Pantone colors of the year for the past several years. He gave me a couple of his business cards and each card featured a different color!! It was awesome!!!
I rarely need to correct anything you say in fact never, but Pantone now has taken over the color in our world. From house colors, any paint colors, graphic design, the jewelry industry and of course the color of our cars. Definitely a global choke hold on the colors we see around us. Please don’t block me as an artist it is something we talk about all the time. 💜Kristin
This is all sooo true! I had so much more in my video that I cut out because it felt like a lot to digest. But they really do control so much. It’s fascinating and equally terrifying. And the amount of money artists need to spend in order to keep up with it is wild. The color books and licensing. I can’t even imagine. Thank you for sharing your thoughts about it. It’s very valid and worth talking about ❤️❤️
Can I recommend a TH-camr channel I absolutely love if you are looking for some color theory Ispo? Ellena Hue. She's amazing and has tons of videos on color combos.
🩰🤸🏻♂ Thank you Laura! Aventurine and Italian Plum are my fav Pantone picks, they are in my Palette. Also really like Tomatoe cream, and excited to see more reds in Fashion these days. I shoes we are alive!
Great video Laura!
Yay! I’m gonna pull out all my fall clothes now. Lol

Hi Laura, definitely blue and burgundy. Thank you once again for your video. I look forward to seeing them.
💃 excited for the lovely browns and that blue Adventure color that are in my Autumn undertone color palette.
Burgundy is my new colour this season.
In 1987 I had a long wide wale corduroy trench style jacket from Avon😂 in the aventurine color…. Cried when I wore it out 😢

Omg that’s amazing!! The more I read up on Pantone, the more I realize how meticulous those jobs are! And agree on winter sky! It’s beautiful ❤️
💃winter sky
I've had wool fabric in this colour in my stash for some years.
I'm cutting into it to make a high waisted trouser. 💟🙋♀️
Winter sky is my top pick as well!!! It’s stunning 😍
