I love that you admit when things don't go as planned. It helps me to know as a gardener I'm going to fail at times but you learn from it and try something new!!!!.
Yes! In gardening there's no such thing as failures, its a learning experience. There are 2 things I want to teach people with my gardening channel- that, & that gardrning (whther it be flower gardening or vegetable gardening) doesn't have to be extremely difficult like some people make it out to seem!
When getting to heaven, after seeing Jesus and worshiping at His feet, having a reunion with my family, I am heading straight to the gardens. I have a landscaper that can give me a small taste of the best to come! Thank you Doug!
The mounding form of the Supertunia Mulberry Charm is perfection... I love your repeat use of it throughout. And goodness... yes. The combination in the front entryway is glorious. You really show how to create cohesion with your plantings without being matchy-matchy. Again, PERFECTION! 🤜🤛❤
This garden literally moved me to tears, the beauty is astounding. You are earth angels. Imagine if this kind of knowledge was ( and should be as far as I'm concerned ) part of standard curriculum at every school. How beautiful the world could be. 💐🥀🌾🌲🌼🌳🌅

i saved this one so hubby and i could watch together.. i was impressed when i'd point out something (like the pallet walkway) he'd say, oh yeah, i remember when she did that, lol.. i guess sending him your videos has paid off... it was great fun having a 'date' to watch it together; it felt like we were just friends getting a private tour of your gardens... such a beautiful property... enjoyed this tour so much.. everything looks spectacular!!! :)
Cleomes (spider flower) self-seed RAMPANTLY, so be sure to pull them out before the flowers go to seed. The seed pods spring open, popping the seeds far and wide, so be diligent.
I thoroughly enjoy these garden tours and find myself rewatching them, especially during stressful times. These videos very peaceful and calming. Thank you for sharing with us the fruits of your labor! 💕
Hey LaTicia, I have a cooking channel with gardening videos as well. I'd love to share them with you and have your support. You may really enjoy them. Have a blessed day 😊❤️
Loved the full tour of your beautiful property. Can the tall Russian Sage be cut back to the ground in the Fall or early Spring to keep the size in check and make it bushier?
That final shot with the drone was VERY REWARDING! I don't know that I've ever seen such a complete aerial view of the whole property - it's nice to have that perspective now. BEAUTIFUL!
Such a great designer! It is astounding how a property that size has such purposeful and thoughtful vignettes with such variety yet cohesiveness at once, It literally blows my mind.
I wonder if you truly can grasp the sheer joy I and so many feel in touring your garden. You could show the same bed every day and it would never get old. The variety of colors, textures, form, and beauty are endless. I thank you for the time you have taken to film and edit this. You are so busy yet you take time to give us these wonderful tours. I couldn't ever choose a favorite spot, each is spectacular in its own way.
Ok...new game. From now on whenever Laura says "This is my favorite" I'm going to go buy more plants. Win/ win! I'm like her, at some point in the season, everything is my favorite when it comes to my yard. Also, Laura, thanks to you I have planted my first ever vegetable 'garden.' I use garden loosely because it's only a few plants, but you gave me the courage to go ahead and try it because even if I fail, it's just gardening, not brain surgery. Thanks for that. :)

My husband and I really love your garden tour! It’s one of the most exciting things we look forward to every year in a beautiful blooming season. Glad to have you out there sharing all those wonderful flowers and plants.
The garden is looking so beautiful! While I have been watching your channel since just before Benjamin was born, I only recently came across what I think is the first garden tour you did after you bought the house. I was wondering if you'd ever consider (or have already done) a shot by shot, split-screen comparison of what the garden looked like in that first tour compared to what it looks like now. It would be so fun to see how much it's changed!
I am doing that right now with the videos of the spot where Laura is standing at the start of the video and what a great difference from then to now. Laura has worked very hard and made it seem effortless.
This is my favorite garden tour yet. The front of the house is PERFECTION, and Im so excited to see what you put into the moon garden to color it up! Im imagining so many colorful tulips and david austin roses! 😍 Thank you for giving us such a thorough, enjoyable tour! The drone footage at the end just stole my heart!
Beautiful!! My goodness how do you take care of all of that beauty? Your knowledge of so many plants is impressive. Thank you for sharing all your wonderful gardening with everyone.
Watching your garden tour is always such a joy. It's like going to reunion with dear friends you have not seen for a long time. You welcome the new addition to the circle, ecstatic that everyone is doing well and fondly reminisce about those who unfortunately had to go. Or not! Lol. At the end of the party you are sad and wishing you could stay for more. The almost 1 hour video just never seem to be enough. Thank you so much Laura and Aaron for welcoming us into your paradise. God bless you abundantly more!

I am going to share this with my husband to prove there is someone else who can talk about their garden plants for a full hour! I love that she touches the plants she walls by all the time like me. This property is gorgeous and I am seeing many of the plants I put in last year in a more mature state. Love this!
I thought I was set for the day after having such a great time watching the mail time video and now I’m just downright spoiled!!!!! A garden tour too!!!! Happy Monday!! Love you Laura Aaron and Benjamin 😍
The different route you took during the tour made it feel like I was looking at a new garden! I love it! Props to Aaron for remember plant names and knowing light requirements! Love you guys both so much! :D

Girl, I am envious, love how the colors just go together...even the grass is so lush, geez that is one beautiful garden. I've never seen hydrangeas so full and healthy.
Thank You Laura, what a beautiful place for You and your Growing Family! Can you provide a overhead of your entire space. You have a large space. Just wonderful! Keep Growing!

I definitely agree! Please post names or at least say names slowly. I so love your gardens and your videos but so frustrating to love plants and not be able to catch the name of what they are.
I echo this same suggestion. I'm learning so much by watching these videos but I miss a lot because I can't quite hear the name of the plant. Seeing it spelled out will help get it to stick in my brain.
Yes, especially for us older people with poor memories. Ha,ha,ha. Love, love, love your gardens!! We are re landscaping a newly purchased older home and I'm getting a lot of good ideas from your videos. Thank you for all your hard work! I can appreciate it as an avid gardener. Can't wait to see more!
I just love your garden tours Laura!!!!! And I love and laugh so much watching you as you meander through the plants and gardens and get distracted with weeds or other plants..."hold on, there's a bloom...hold up, sweet peas... A beautiful place and such great information as I tour with you. I have been looking for a shrub to hide the gas connection on the front of my house and Diervilla fits the bill. The area gets very little direct sun but the foliage is so interesting that I am not concerned about bloom. A definite win!
Laura. You video is better than any textbook, you are extremely talented and passionate about what you doing. Very inspiring! My yard has improved very much since I started to watch it. This particular tour I watch over and over again and get lots of new ideas. Thank you beautiful lady for sharing it with us.
French vanilla in one hand watching this beautiful garden tour 😍😍 ......... another great way to start off your morning with garden answer 💚💚💚. Can’t wait to see my garden at this level one day.
Thank you! What a special treat....everything looks amazing...thanks for all the work to bring us beauty and ideas. My garden has never looked so good and it is your inspiration....enjoy it!
I LOVE garden tours!!! The Miscanthus Cabaret looks amazing not tied back. I noticed it in one of your videos last year and I love the rounded look of it. I was also with Aaron on the pink mink Clamatis. From the look of the area it doesn’t look like enough sun, but I am glad you went with it!! It looks amazing being able to see the trellis behind it!! The arborvitae hedge is looking amazing!! I bet you are glad you planted those 😂. And last but not least, because of you Firelight Hydrangeas are my absolute FAVORITE!! I am obsessed with hydrangeas now!!! 😊 Thank you so much for sharing your garden with us!!
I just completed a mixed Hydrangea hedge (I left room for more next year when garden centers should have better assortments) and also love the one you mentioned. The bloom petals are so big (I'm not talking about the bloom heads). But I think the red color won't complement the Strawberry Shake variety I planted. I've got a Bobo and a Black Lace Elderberry, Coralberry and weeping blue spruce. I'm having fun under planting with perennials and grasses.
My goodness the work you’ve done! Makes me tired just watching the video. Endless inspiration and knowledge. Always, thank you and your growing family for the videos year round. Morning coffee and Garden Answer, now that’s a perfect combo!
I just love your house and gardens ♥️ if you have time maybe you can do a raffle with those hollyhock seeds. I’m sure people would appreciate and love that. Aaron, you have the patience of a saint 😂😂😂
I wonder if they're like Lupine seeds, where the seed might yield a different color than the parent and the only way to get the same color is from cuttings (propagation).
Wow!! So beautiful, thank you for this tour, I have many of the same plants, nice to compare and understand more about what I'm growing 😕 I see that you have cut back a lot of your perennials, do you cut all the way to ground?? Please consider a video of your technique on this, it would be so helpful. Also, how is the Pear Tree (?) coming along, the structured looking one in raised flower bed, behind barn?? I thought it was so pretty and excited to see its growth. 🌿🌳🌺
I too had a restless night...if I'd only known! 😂 I love the garden tours and I love that Laura is showing more, and more...so happy for them. Can't wait until September to find out the gender! 😍
When I saw the drone shot at the very end of all the beautiful gardens, established and new, I couldn't help but think, "Laura, you've got to be more gentle with yourself and Aaron. You two are doing a fantastic job with all you are doing, new gardens, new pathways, new baby and all that beauty! You inspire me to do more and be a better gardener. Thank you!
LOVE LOVE LOVE Garden Tours Everything is looking so beautiful I have been non stop gardening with all of this Corona virus stuff peaking here in Dallas Texas so I'm a bit behind on my garden answer videos I missed you taking a break from the garden to day just for you... To day is my Garden Answer Binge Day 🌿🌸🌿
At first I was thinking that perhaps she just might be looking at the garden thru rose colored pregnancy glasses... BUT WHO AM I KIDDING!!! That whole property IS having its BEST YEAR!!! EVERYTHING looks FANTASTIC Laura! Geez, even the blank spaces look great! AND YOU are looking especially nice today too!! Great hair btw!!! Thanks for sharing such a long video! ♡♡♡
I rarely get jealous of anyone & feel guilty when it happens, but I find myself feeling great envy of your space. It’s not in a bad way, but in a longing to create similar landscapes. You are so blessed to see this daily. I appreciate your knowledge base on the plants, you’ve become a resource for information and you have a very pleasant demeanor. Thank You for sharing, truly lovely. God bless
YOu must wake up every morning and feel like you're in paradise. I know I would. I also love the aerial view of your beautiful gardens which brings it all together. You always inspire me to get out in my garden!
absolutely love the purples, greens, blues whites in the front of the house... so serene and elegant... and seeing the large full containers behind you on the drive was divine!
Hi Laura! You mentioned that you'd have to address some clover coming up through the grass. We're having that issue at our place and I was wondering how you'd manage that. Thank you for all your help and knowledge. As a beginner gardener, it is SO helpful and makes me excited to get going!
Yes! I meant to ask about handling clover in the lawn. It's super thick in many areas of my lawn. I wondered if it's an indication my soil pH needs some work. I keep meaning to spread limestone. I have bags and bags of it from when I hired an organic lawn treatment company.
Kate Hillenbrand The clover is actually helping your soil...it’s fixing your nitrogen. Believe it or not, they used to add clover to grass mixes back in the day.
Hi Laura! I'm so amazed with what you do for your garden. Everything look so beautiful and organized. I get great inspiration, ideas and gardening tips from you. Thank you for sharing all the beautiful things and good sources! ❤
THANK YOU VERY MUCH, THESE ARE YOUR WHOLE DAY WORK. I LOVE YOUR LARGE AND OPEND GARDEN. I USED TO DO THIS KIND OF WORK IN MY EARLY RETIRED BUT NOW I LIVE IN THE 0.20 ACRE WITH MY SMALL GARDEN.
looking back I really love their old garden, it looked so green, all the shade was amazing ❤ with all the big tree and the gazebo, everything looked so old school and enriched
Oh my heavens! You just have the most fabulous place!!! I am going to have to watch this again. Everything looks so beautiful and perfect. I don't know how you keep up with it all. Thanks so much for sharing!
I rewatch these garden tours a lot now and I’m starting to really appreciate how Laura designs her spaces. Everything’s very deliberate and and well thought out and it shows. Other gardens I see on TH-cam just seem like a hodgepodge, or just a reaction to what’s already in their garden. Laura’s not afraid to rip something out if it’s not performing or working for the grand scheme, it to mention her amazing eye for design.
I’d still try to distinguish each area a bit. Maybe a pastels garden, a hot garden, a dominant red area, etc. maybe a high summer garden on the west side?
Shelley Mourer there’s tons of work to make and edit all the videos and take care of all the property and chores required. Even with help like they have there are only so many hours in the day to do it all.
Aaron's drone shots are where I always pause or rewind to watch again. I try to visualize where each of the places Laura was. The fireplace is where I always get lost in the drone shots.
Simply Gorgeous!! I so rather watch a long garden tour from you than watching something on television! Wow, I couldn’t help but think while watching how incredibly beautiful it would be to have a wedding there. So pretty and so many picture opportunities. Maybe someday someone in your family COULD be married there 😊. Thank you for the lovely tour.
Thank you for the tour! Just beautiful! So inspiring, I have improved my garden so much with your tips. 1- I always buy more than one plant (usually 3) 2-.I have added evergreens which make such any amazing difference with interest and depth 3- I don't stress about getting it all done at once. Thank you for doing what you do and sharing so much with us!
Kimberly Stoneton , and because last year Laura mentioned something about a Moon Garden that prompted me to plant white flowers in an area under a huge basswood tree. The area is truly a moon garden when the full moon comes out!
Angela Bartolone ugh mine haven’t bloomed😩 looks like something nibbled them. I’ve put a net over them & sprayed Liquid Fence. Hoping for some late blooms🤞🏻
@@reneehill5548 I ordered mine from Home Depot. One arrived with several snapped branches and now it has bounced back great but only one bloom so far, on the branch that wasn't damaged. The other one arrived in great condition and is literally covered in blooms atm. I'm in western pa, zone 5b.
I ordered the Czechmark trilogy after seeing it on GA. It’s a beautiful choice but it’s full sun and I think she said the area gets just an hour of sun and then filtered. I was thinking the gaura would be nice, but that’s full sun, too, and maybe too tall.
I planted a Bobo in full sun because Laura (I think) mentioned they like more sun. No buds yet. I'm not familiar with this plant, but several channels have Aurelia (sp?) planted in their shady spots and comment on how big they've gotten. The ones I've seen are lime green, but there many choices.
I will look forward to your video on the tree staking . I have one with 2 leaders unfortunately and it looks like a wild man when the wind blows. Cracks me up but needs to be fixed. Love your videos Congrats by the way on the upcoming addition.

Totally agree another great way is a Starbucks in your hand 😁😁
That grass is absolutely beautiful.watch when she steps the grass looks like it's spongy.
You look great Lorraine. How are you?
I just love your house and gardens ♥️ if you have time maybe you can do a raffle with those hollyhock seeds. I’m sure people would appreciate and love that. Aaron, you have the patience of a saint 😂😂😂
I wonder if they're like Lupine seeds, where the seed might yield a different color than the parent and the only way to get the same color is from cuttings (propagation).
@@Bamboo4U2 Rose of Sharon did that to me ,I thought I was getting a pink plant ,instead I got white with maroon red in the middle
I completely forgot to show the beds behind the greenhouse, but they are both doing so incredibly great! I'll show it soon!
I too had a restless night...if I'd only known! 😂 I love the garden tours and I love that Laura is showing more, and more...so happy for them. Can't wait until September to find out the gender! 😍
My bet...its a girl. 🤞
@@doritagehman3496 Wouldn't that just be perfect!
I always come back to this video, especially in the winter when joy and spring inspo is needed!!💕
Thank you!
You look great Michelle. How are you?
LOVE LOVE LOVE
Garden Tours
Everything is looking so beautiful I have been non stop gardening with all of this Corona virus stuff peaking here in Dallas Texas so I'm a bit behind on my garden answer videos I missed you taking a break from the garden to day just for you...
To day is my
Garden Answer Binge Day
🌿🌸🌿
Great way to take your mind off a stressful situation
I was thinking it’s your best year there too. Everything blends together nicely.
At first I was thinking that perhaps she just might be looking at the garden thru rose colored pregnancy glasses...
BUT WHO AM I KIDDING!!!
That whole property IS having its
BEST YEAR!!!
EVERYTHING looks FANTASTIC Laura!
Geez, even the blank spaces look great!
AND YOU are looking especially nice today too!! Great hair btw!!!
Thanks for sharing such a long video!
♡♡♡
How's the Espalier tree doing ? I remembered you planting that in the back corner of your property. Your property is amazing.
You look great Maryann. How are you?
Gorgeous tour and Aaron I was hoping you’d end with drone footage. Thanks!💚🥰
Amazing!! These tours keep getting better and better!!
Looks great! Thanks for the drone shots so we have an overall view of the property.
Your property is breath taking with all your planting and flowers.❤️
absolutely love the purples, greens, blues whites in the front of the house... so serene and elegant... and seeing the large full containers behind you on the drive was divine!
You look great. How are you?
Goals!! Love your tours. Your garden is so lovely. The expansion is also so exciting to see it developing.
Laura Presley we love our clover and so do the pollinators❣️🐝🦋
Laura, “the video is too long, “ SAID NO ONE, EVER!!
Exactly!!
Well said Barbara! Well said!!
Who the heck is in her ear with that nonsense?
Loved it
Jake Jones , as I originally posted, certainly none of us viewers.
Absolutely beautiful Laura. You and Aaron have done an amazing job on your property. Thank you so much for the tour!
the pallet walkway has really held up!
This video gave me the inspo to get out in my garden today!
looking back I really love their old garden, it looked so green, all the shade was amazing ❤ with all the big tree and the gazebo, everything looked so old school and enriched
Amazing garden. Just wish the names of each shrub popped up on screen so I could take note.
Oh my heavens! You just have the most fabulous place!!! I am going to have to watch this again. Everything looks so beautiful and perfect. I don't know how you keep up with it all. Thanks so much for sharing!
All I can say is HEAVEN !!!!! It's shows how talented you and Aaron are at this.
Love that you gave us a garden tour! It looks amazing!
The aerial view shows how very beautiful your entire property is. I was wondering where your raised bed veggie garden is from last year? Thanks.
I’d still try to distinguish each area a bit. Maybe a pastels garden, a hot garden, a dominant red area, etc. maybe a high summer garden on the west side?
I think Aaron should put every name of the plants on the screen when Laura tells us. That way we know what to go buy 😂😂😂
Yaaaas!
That would be great, for deaf people ❤️
i keep a notepad ready to make notes for items of interest.
Shelley Mourer there’s tons of work to make and edit all the videos and take care of all the property and chores required. Even with help like they have there are only so many hours in the day to do it all.
I have Russian Sage because of Laura! Such a gorgeous plant I had never seen before!
No words can suit this garden tour other than ' perfection and precision '💖
Aaron's drone shots are where I always pause or rewind to watch again. I try to visualize where each of the places Laura was. The fireplace is where I always get lost in the drone shots.
You look Tamara. How are you?
Simply Gorgeous!! I so rather watch a long garden tour from you than watching something on television! Wow, I couldn’t help but think while watching how incredibly beautiful it would be to have a wedding there. So pretty and so many picture opportunities. Maybe someday someone in your family COULD be married there 😊. Thank you for the lovely tour.
You look great Jennie. How are you?
Thank you for the tour! Just beautiful! So inspiring, I have improved my garden so much with your tips. 1- I always buy more than one plant (usually 3) 2-.I have added evergreens which make such any amazing difference with interest and depth 3- I don't stress about getting it all done at once. Thank you for doing what you do and sharing so much with us!
Kimberly Stoneton , and because last year Laura mentioned something about a Moon Garden that prompted me to plant white flowers in an area under a huge basswood tree. The area is truly a moon garden when the full moon comes out!
@@eileenchang2173
I heard from a grower on YT that white flowers are very popular this year. I've certainly upped my game.
For the spot under the angel statue, my vote is for Bobo hydrangea. I just planted a couple this spring and they are fantastic plants. Very impressed.
I was thinking a wrap around, tiny hedge of that czech mark trilogy shrub?
I ordered the Czechmark trilogy after seeing it on GA. It’s a beautiful choice but it’s full sun and I think she said the area gets just an hour of sun and then filtered. I was thinking the gaura would be nice, but that’s full sun, too, and maybe too tall.
I planted a Bobo in full sun because Laura (I think) mentioned they like more sun. No buds yet.
I'm not familiar with this plant, but several channels have Aurelia (sp?) planted in their shady spots and comment on how big they've gotten. The ones I've seen are lime green, but there many choices.
Me watching the video: Wow that part is my favorite. Wow *that* part is my favorite. Wow----
oh goodness same here.
Being with you is strangely peaceful - Being away from you feels strange but also quite peaceful.
At minute 30 where you ask what to plant. Angle Trumpets! the white bush kind would look amazing. They come back every year!
Thank you! 🙏❤️
I've got a little bit of garden envy and space envy...🤣 so beautiful, girl!
The garden looks beautiful, Aaron does a nice job with the drone shots as well, have a blessed day!🍃💕🍃
Thank you for a lovely peaceful tour.💚
I will look forward to your video on the tree staking . I have one with 2 leaders unfortunately and it looks like a wild man when the wind blows. Cracks me up but needs to be fixed. Love your videos Congrats by the way on the upcoming addition.
I have visited many public gardens, including some attached to large estates, and your gardens are by far the prettiest I've seen! So gorgeous!
