Dave - as a learner, this angle of a single camera is way better than most folks are using. Thank you from the UK.

Thanks KC Seabass! It’s pretty lo-tech. I just put my iPad on a stand and shoot it almost straight down. Then I flip the image so that you see it from my perspective. I’m glad to hear you find my videos useful.

Great lesson. Its a really good way to remember the way you laid it out. I got to thinking those bottom strings dont work for the B&C pedal together but if you use the A&B pedal and swap string 8 for string 7 then you get your whole note raise from E to F#. But great lesson, thank you!!

Thanks for your time and effort. I just got my PSG about 40 days ago and with your (and others) help it is starting to make sense. I have been playing music over 50 years and never took the time to learn PSG or had anyone to teach me. Finding all the chords with different pedals seems to be the major obstacle I have been up against. You have just opened my understanding to exactly what I was looking for. Thank You very much...

As a guitar player for many years, I have always loved pedal steel.
I found this educational and rewarding. Thank you
    Cheers 🍷

Sure appreciate the basix Dave as a lotta reinforcement is needed to freewheel on the PS! Most difficult instrument I've ever attempted. And thanks for teaching at a moderate pace and stopping to explain the pedals and pulls. Some teachers just blaze or blow through the lesson, assuming you already know what they are doing and leaving the viewer scratching his head. Cheers!

DAVE are you tuned 440 across the board on E9 ??

I use a Peterson StroboPlus HS to tune with the EM9 sweeteners. The only strings that are straight up 440 are the Es.
