  • This was during our journey from Banaglore to Ooty back in July, 2018. We crossed the Bandipur Tiger Reserve Forest which is a national park located in the Indian State of Karnataka.
The park spans an area of 874 square kilometers and is the house of several species of India's endangered wildlife. It is part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve, the largest protected area in South India and covers Nagarhole National Park, Mudumalai National Park and Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary.
On our way, we saw a wide of variety of wild animals: elephant, bison, deer, peacock, bear, etc. We were most excited about watching the mother bear and her baby who were pretty cool with us watching them from a distance.
