This is really good information! Kinda wish it wasn’t out there for free! I haven’t been using volume profile for long but I have found it to be extremely useful for finding pivot points in many different stocks and futures!
What VP charting package is that you're using? Haven't seen one that displays a bunch of sessions/weeklies all together like that with such high resolution/details.
@@traderzzz123bro TPA is probably one of the realest trading academies out there, you can literally watch them trade live every day, wins and losses. They have a pretty high consistent WR of around 60% which is quite excelent. I’m sure you are one of those who trades with EMAs and MACDs or maybe follow the ICT scam 😂 Am I wrong?
This just gives you ballpark entries which may or may not work. If you are any trader on the floor with large capital why would you re-test those historic levels given in the market profile? you would only take positions where the price hasn't reached yet. Once something appears on the chart like a profile you are looking at a story that has already played out, the retail trader just hopes the same story will play out again but it won't.
Professional traders ABSOLUTELY use historical levels and price ABSOLUTELY tends to seek out retests of past levels. Also, volume profile, TPO, value charts, etc are OP as it gets in trading. Auction theory.
@@aharon672 they don't retest the historic levels, not the big traders at least. They have enough capital to change the direction of the markets at will. They are hoarders, they buy enough quantities to drain the liquidity out of auction causing massive spikes.
@@mithrandir491 that is literally what the video is saying. You usually place your limits when there is a low-volume start where price has gone very fast and not many contracts have been traded since big money has more sway power there. You also have to use larger stops if you dont use DOM precisely because these guys will try to liquidate all the positions at an obvious level to get liquidity before the move, one of the best setups is entering after a headfake. And yes as the above poster said using VP and TPO is pretty much the “cheat code” in trading, the thing is that it’s not an easy tool to use at all, in fact it’s pretty fucking hard to REALLY find the levels, but once you do you are golden. Lol at retails who use EMAs and Bollinger bands and Fibs and shit like that, that is the best way to get fleeced
Well I don't agree with you since markets move based on imbalances and exploring balance. Based on what you said traders would only trade when we're in new ATH to have any imbalance. If there's a huge lot buyer that came out last week that created the move, the test of that massive buyer is most likely going to invoke a large reaction
Thanks Vic- always so informative.
looking at volume profile from a multi-timeframe perspective, great!

Best of best always ❤
Thanks Vic

Not a really clear explaination
Could be worth a second watch, would recommend having an understanding of auction theory as well. (explained)
PLEASE GET TO THE BLOODY POINT INSTEAD OF REPEATING YOURSELF....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can always just not watch, thanks for watching though
I only became profitable making money almost every day when i just reduced my entire tradinf setup down to a Jigsaw DOM and a 5 minute chart.
I use Order flow and the DOM as well, theres a lot of ways to strip it down and make money in the markets, well done.
