I've never heard anyone pronounce fillet with a silent "t" unless they were cooking it. In this industry, I believe the "t" is pronounced Great tutorial! I'm just a nitpicky guy lol
minder ernstig Basically it doesn’t matter, any plane can be used to make a sketch. However. the plane perpendicular to ”front” on the view cube (XY) is default choice when placing a view on the drawing. If you plan for this you can save a few clicks in the drawing enviroment. Also it has some effect on lighting principles, if you are doing nice presentations of the part itself. Place it in an assembly though and the lighting orientation of the assembly takes precedence. There is also a lot of other situations where you save a few clicks with the part oriented in the right direction but everything can be fixed. So basically it doesn’t matter.
If we are to call the tutorial advanced, should we not use advance technics. For example, while sketching your rectangle, enter the values for the size of the rectangle instead of using the dimension command. Also, I would consider constructing the part in a way that you will actually be using the part in an assembly.
That is one of the correct pronunciations of "fillet" @5:30, but the alternate pronunciation is used in an engineering/building context. At least in my part of the US. I don't know where you are from. www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/fillet
Inventor always looks amazing, even when the model is pretty simple. Also, I have a project I am working on in my channel, a radial engine... I would like you to check it out.
There's nothing new or innovative here , this is an interpretation (in other colors) of the 20 years old Catia V5 , I bet that on inventor are missing all real advanced operation from Catia ... so, the real deal should be the price ...

Thank you for the class!
Dude. The best after years. All of this basic for free???
Good jobs
is there a way we can hide the sketch lines that are visible in the Model.... ?
Great work ! As a newbie, witch plane do you have to chose t start a sketch, and why (x-z, x-y ..)

Привет из России. Зачем они в 2021 так изменили интерфейс? Я против, теперь придётся переучиваться. Спасибо за ваше видео.
Потому что теперь вы можете сделать Extrusion быстрее с меньшим количеством кликов, и диалог стал более понятным.
@@marcelmacuf Значит придется переучиваться...
@@povorotnetuda2019 Да, ты должен учиться всю жизнь
@@marcelmacuf Именно! Я этими всю жизнь и занимаюсь.
"FILL-ETT".
NOT "FILL-AY".
IT IS NOT SPELLED FILET. IT IS NOT THE SAME WORD. IT IS NOT FRENCH.
STOP.
SAYING.
FILET.
