I just bought your fof and Macleod off of eBay and I am really impressed with the work and effort into it. And also thanks for the snake knot and monkey fist
the amount of patience you must have to be able to create these bracelets and describe in such detail how to make them is baffling to me, remarkable work sir, definitely looking forward to viewing more of your videos
Thank you sir. I dislike making things that take less than an hour lol. I always look forward to the outcome of a bracelet. The harder a pattern is, the better it looks when finished. Thanks for watching
Anthony Marshall you are correct. Too much tension and you get a different outcome…. Too little and you get a mess! I don't use a jig…. I can control the outcome much better because I can see the backside!
Very complicated design. Love the bracelet. Hard to see everything you are working on because of the dark carpet background. Might help if you worked over a white background. ;-)
i know this video is a few years old, but i recently discovered it. Awsome design! But very difficult to follow, due to the bad light.... have to guess sometimes. And the black cores are hard to see, due to the dark background. Thats a shame, i relly wanted to try it out...
Hi Great design but is there any chance you can do a video where it's a bit better lighting conditions it's probably a bit cheeky but i so want to do this bracelet no worries if you can't do it Allan
Damn, still nobody after 7 years? Anyway, each strand is right around 3.65 m in this video. Wrist size is approx. 205 mm, the length of the bracelet is 244 mm.
@@imafiretruck7454 It's something like a letter from past to get replies after 7 years :D Thanks, man) 4 days ago found a bunch of cords from that time. May be your comment is a signs to start weaving again))
I have a business page on Facebook called Opossum's Paracord. Feel free to check out all my stuff and send me a message or email if your looking to buy some Paracord creations my friend. opossumsparacord@yahoo.com
The Macleod is the thinnest. The Highlander is just a little thicker because of the extra cord, and The Fight or Flight Bar is the thickest of the three because of all the half hitches
Hey Joshua great video I am looking maybe make this weave into a strap for a messenger bag how much of each cord like twice or three time my total length?
CHRIS martinez I've actually made many straps using this pattern. I did a camera strap just the other month that was 40" long. Both cords were around 60 feet long each. It's no fun, but the end result is always worth it
Amazon and/or eBay have plenty usually, YMMV depending on country, you can get them from around $1 each up to $5 each and theres rarely any difference in quality (some use cheaper metals, but that wont affect your using them) so dont just buy the first you find. Personally i'd recommend you buy at least 2, and maybe even 2 more, depending on how many theads you generally work on per item.
@@JoshuaRaines We are having a hard time seeing where the cords go because of the black background. Could you PLEASE do this again on a white background? Thanks so much!

I think you should use a light background when using dark colors. It would be easier to see and state lengths of cords and buckle size.

I agree, I can't see what he is doing..

hello there, how wide is this weave?
Cheshire Cat 1.25"-1.5"
beautiful thank you so much for the reply.
can you this into belt size
Wil Hoffman yes you can
is it the same concept just hook the buckle to it
Wil Hoffman correct
I too found it difficult to follow. I suggest that when weaving black , or any dark paracord, use a white or lighter back drop.
Shoot I want to try that one out I need a longer tutorial lol it’s to complex to make need more of a walk through myself
how much paracord you use for red and black?
How long is red cord ?
I want to make this into a rifle sling ~37" long. How much cord do I need?
wxmyjnsn I would use 60' of each color. So 120' all in all
Did you make it? I bet it looks pretty cool.
Do you have a store to buy from

One more thing. Listing thinnest to thickest. Is the highlander ,the McLeod ,or the fof the thinnest or thickest

+Joshua Raines (Opossum's Paracord) thx
How much do I have ft red and black paracord?
Start with 14 feet of each
+Joshua Raines (Opossum's Paracord) Thank You very much :)

Thanks just to be clear did you mean to put 60 feet or inches?
CHRIS martinez around 60 feet for each cord for something around 40" long. So 120 Feet of cord
Very complicated looking design, would be a lot easier to see in detail if background were a lighter colour
Is that intro .... THUNDER HORSE?
Angel HoPe indeed it is!!
Joshua Raines 10/10 mad respect
Where can I go to get fids those needle things he's using anyone know I want to go to a store to get some so can someone please let me know
