I legit understood all of that just by trying all this stuff myself. Inventor is really intuituve sometimes

Good stuff. The music was a trip and oddly, quite fitting. The "battle scene" scores for when my frustration reaches epic proportions, followed by softer melodies for when the drawing is smooth.

This was real handy , I could have used this knowledge a couple of times. If I can pull one thing out your videos I feel out times haven't been wasted. You do a great job. Thanks!

Spot on with your comment about not knowing about full round. I do this the hard way with show dimensions and such. Funny how we learn what we need and forget to explore. Thanks for the help.

Sweet Spongebob but I love your videos! This one in particular really answered my questions that have stumped me for a while.
Your informal-yet-clear explanations really have helped me immensely with such a highly-technical software.
I am an art guy trying to learn this and I cannot tell you how many times I have given up trying to tackle Inventor due to the dry, way-too-quick and overly-jargon-laden tutorials I have come across (especially the ones put out by Autodesk - shameful!).
I have subscribed the pewp out of your channel and will be coming back for more learnin.
    Thank you so much!

  • @quadrannilator

You could have explained this whole command for more value with an actual product design based example involving plastic parts. Traditional bulk metal parts don't offer much scope for truly appreciating the power and practical utility of fillets. You don't have to go fully into surface based modelling, but you could at least have shown an example for a slightly complex plastic part where the hard tangent edge is noticable to both the eye and the touch. You could have combined it with curvature visualization tools to help folks understand how to determine what kind of fillet is present, where an edge appears filleted in a real world part. Thank for your videos!

is there a way you can do a kind of inverted fillet, like it cuts into one face of the material? i've left my fillets till last on one of my autodesk outcomes and the wheels are meeting the base. the base is to be filleted normally but the wheels are making the fillet move into their direction where it meets them.

I know, I stopped all background music on my tutorials shortly after this. I wasn't using headphones to monitor the audio in editing so to me, the music balance sounded perfect, on headphones or other speaker types it was too loud.
