    Such an under-rated video! Great explanation! I've been hearing SD-WAN for a couple of years now, but haven't had to use it and was wondering what all the fuss is about.
    By the way ... that's one beast of a super super super ultra ultra ultra wide wide wide monitor you have there!

      @@JeanPierTalbot , any recommendations on inexpensive training if I want to get certified on Sonicwall firewalls? I’ve been managing them for 7 years now, but would like to get an actual certification

      You commented on my SDWAN overview/demo video. But I also have a 1h long tech video that explains how I setup everything to do that demo video. Definitely should watch it if you haven’t yet!

    Where does SD-WAN sit vs. FOLB? Is it simply that SDW is acted upon first based on policy and if no policy applies, it follows the FOLB routing metrics? Also, how would you control other methods of load balancing, such as filling the first underlying interface to 80% instead of round robin? Same question about FOLB too - does it have any impact on your SDWan rules? Lastly, if you have a point to point and a TI between offices, can you build a second TI over the point to point in order to consider it for an SDWAN group (and get the performance probe benefit), or do you simply have to continue with custom routes, probing and failover? Awesome video by the way! Been a huge SW supporter for as long as they're around...

      Hi!
      Thanks for your positive feedback.
      That’s a lot of question and none of them can be answer by a Yes or a No.
      Best would be to reach out to your local sonicwall SE. if you don’t know who she/he is. Email me, I’ll put you in touch

      @@JeanPierTalbot thanks. I know them well. For some reason, was looking at SDWAN as being more of a SW to SW over VPN/TI option, but other than that, been flying under the radar for me. Thanks for the quick response. Appreciate the content!

    Hey, thanks for sharing! Nice approach!!! Do you know if this SDWAN supports connecting 2 or more different offices location? We are setting up a high availability network with 2 TZ400, active--standby, crossover connected... this is the schema we want to do the 3 other offices that we have, but can they communicate... like a VPN... but actually SDWAN for all of them to see each other?

      Yes of course. I show 2 offices setup in this video. The VoIP call has the phone in site A and the VoIP server + another phone at site B.
      There is a video on SDWAN that is like an hour long where I show how to do it all.

    Great job! One question. Where have you installed WANem?

  • @michaelperugini4199

    so can this entirely replace IPSEC vpn site to site (hub spoke) ?

    • @JeanPierTalbot
      @JeanPierTalbot  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It does not replace IPSec site to site VPN. SD-Wan goes on top of IPSEC site to site VPN to make it 100x better! :-)
