You're welcome! I plan on redoing a Foredom video in the future once I can order some specific bits from a lapidary catalog and since I have computer now, I can edit my videos and include more content than this video :)

Dremel has a flex shaft, also. The 4300 is a good and inexpensive rotary tool for starting with.

Howdy and thanks for sharing. One tip, if you or your viewers weren't aware, don't let the hand piece of the Foredom hang for long periods of time below the motor like it was in the beginning of the video. The lubricant will drain into the hand piece and bung up the bearings after awhile.

Would you mimd sharing where you purchased your drip setup from? I've found one source online in the past, but I can't remember where haha. I have a pump, i just need the rest, cause the tubing wrapped with wire I've been using isn't ideal, at aaaalll.

I was fortunate enough to have found one of the rock shops here in town (Corvallis, Oregon) that happened to have a several in stock and even had some of the bases to go with them.
They had two different nozzles, square and rounded.
The only thing I noticed is that the joints aren't 100% tight and water does start to drip/seep out but if it's above your water source, it will be okay and won't really matter.
You can also search online for Water & Wood 3/8" Threaded Round Spout Flexible Switch Water Oil Coolant Pipe Hose 16" and it should give several online sources for the hose.

That cutting head will fling rock/mist several feet, I know from a years use. I use a storage tub about 2 feet deep with a 4” air intake just above the work surface going to a 2 hp. dust collector. I still get sprayed. Also I found out that if your thumb slides into that indent on the head while it’s spinning you will let out some wrong language. 😄😄😄

Oh I've had my finger slip into the spinning bit and yeah...not great lol
But yeah, I know it still makes a mess. I'm hoping to make an updated version of this video as gained some inspiration from Paul the Rockhound.

I've been meaning to do a more updated version of this video. I'll make a note to show how big of bits they can fit!
In the meantime, I'll check tomorrow and leave a response of how big of the stems it'll fit :)

Oh man...I'm surprised people are still watching this old video haha
I just like the convenience of not having to worry about refilling a water container and stop what I'm doing because I'm the kind of person that can easily get distracted if my focus is broken. Plus, it's nice not having to figure out a high location to place a container above any of my work stations.
