This is the best bodybuilding podcast out there. And this particular episode brought me to writing this comment. It's deeply emotional and super interesting watching all these smart people for whom bodybuilding was and still is a way how to understand yourselves and how to survive the life. All my life I've been playing and teaching tennis. In college I went for two years regularly in the gym 3 times a week and at that stage of my life I felt great, I felt happy and free. Nowadays I'm going back to some home workouts but I truly miss those days in the gym as I really like watching other people doing their stuff and learning from each other. Tony really looks like Michael Jackson with muscle and he looks like a good guy. Btw. all of you in the podcast you are amazing. Always relaxed, smiling, honest and clever. Keep up the great work and fun because every other podcast about bodybuilding is so serious most of the times it's impossible to watch. This one is just human, humble and very inspiring. I love it 👍
This show makes my day every Sunday when I'm just leaving my first job and going to the gym waiting for next one. Being about the same age and working out all my life I can relate to a lot even when I'm far from a real bodybuilder😊
I have been bodybuilding for 43 years, trained with Toney about 1.5 years ago, he kicked my ass and tought me how to train better...never saw that coming. Great man and the best trainer I ever worked out with. Such an amazing human being, very real person, very rare.
I’ll never forget Kevin Levornes 2000 Mr Olympia routine it was so well put together and his entrance was amazing. Really got me into posing after seeing that
Thanks , always looking forward to listening you guys, Milos keep spitting your fire , Chris keep bringing your style to show Terrick you don’t always have to wear your communion suit everyday and Dennis keep bringing some of the best guests for us to listen too , thanks you guys !!!! SR.
DJ is cool, very honest, knows BB verywell Chris and Melos got the info.. all 3 of these guys understand the aesthetic and bueaty of BB... They have very similar mindsets to Arnold.. they want the sport to keep getting better and not go backwards...best BB podcast on TH-cam right now.. I'm glad these guys are influencing the sport and they are all previously Pro Bodybuilders that competed at the highest level!
this was awesome, Tony is so sweet. Dennis thanks for all you do with these podcast , they teach me so much about the history of BB. I never miss a tmp show
Great stuff, Dennis, Chris & Milos. There weee so many Legends of genuine Physique Artists & Tony Pearson was up there with the best. They sculpted their physiques with the precision of a scientist and displayed their Art/Physiques like a genuine Artist. Thank you for the memories, Mr Pearson. Cheers from Sydney, Australia!
I realized it after we filmed that I was wrong but didn't want to edit that part out. Of course I knew that Akim was 6th and Iain 7th but sometimes I make mistakes too lol. I apologize.
This was a great, great podcast.. hearing Tony opinion on BB and what it was like in the 70's competing. Seems like all the great feel that Aesthetics, lines and posing are more appealing then mass... and I agree.. I think the 90's was the perfect blend of size and Aesthetics.. I know it's probably never going to be that way in pro bodybuilding again... sucks
thanks dj for getting tony on he,s a cool dude. im looking forward to when you do the bigger version of the round table but surely milos will make up for five bodybuilders lol.
In an older podcast ,Chris I didn't understand what you meant when you said Bumstead still wasn't classic in your eyes. You mentioned the importance of biceps separation. I thought you were just biased toward Breone. But I do see your point now. The 70/80's did seem to put a greater emphasis on the biceps peak with crazy separations. Arnold, Dave draper, Robby etc their biceps really made their physiques stand out and they made a living out of it
I put a like in this podcast without start seeing. I think that the low viewers number is part related to the same reason open bodybuilding today is not reaching the same quality of the 80s 90s… dont care about the others experience, dont follow what this “old” people say, dont care about posing… its all about money, followers and other things… Thank you for this fantastic podcast. Love it.
Love this ! look forward to this every Sunday and Thursday ? But there are three interview that when I see the guest I know it’s going to be a boring interview because they never say anything you didn’t already know, no new funny or racy stories Tony pearson , Lee Labrada, and Lee Haney ! No disrespect as bodybuilders, but very “safe interviews” .
I can’t press like I used to but my arms were pretty strong I’m still pretty strong pretty big want to get my muscle mass back the hardness with low body fat ate fat free and low carb and protein took my gear today too and supplements
Dennis, back in the days, people competed to be a or the champion,to be God's and Godesses, today people compete to win some money first and to be champion second....that's the difference 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾
? Why do all this Bodybuilder from the 1970 never give Dan Laurie credit Arnold , Sergio, Tony Pearson et They were with the WBBG bodybuilding organization They were all WBBG even Joe Weider stayed at Dan Laurie’s home & stole his Idea
Thank you for bringing legends from the 80's

Tony Pearson was from Dan Laurie bodybuilding Contest
Yes ,I'll look fwd to that show with all the former greats .Tony still looking awesome @66 .💪🙏💯
Tony was one of my favourite BBs in 80s…inspiration…Lat and Abs!
I like how Tony made sure he took care of business by advertising his book before he answered any questions lol
I got mine right on a spot...
Came 3 days ago.
I remember doing a Dan Lurie show. It was AAU.
That was really good ... thank you!

@Milos Sarcev You speak intelligently with enthusiasm and great humour.

Great Podcast
Dj, Akim was 6th in 2020, Ian was 7th 😂
That’s wrong DJ, in 2020 6th place was Akim Williams, Iain was 7th
Hi Dennis. 6th place at 2020 is not Ian. It is Akim...
Tony looks 38 years old
Amazing!
I can’t press like I used to but my arms were pretty strong I’m still pretty strong pretty big want to get my muscle mass back the hardness with low body fat ate fat free and low carb and protein took my gear today too and supplements
33:06 wasn't Akim Williams 6th?...Iain was 7th
Dennis did you breakdance in saucheshausen across McDonald's? My friends from FAJHS were in 84 spring time
Yeah his lat spread was real 😂
Such a short interview...why didn't you just reschedule it? We need at least 30 more minutes
🔥🔥🔥
Awesome but come on let’s keep these closer to the 2 hour mark not 1 hour lol
Dorian and Ronnie 🔥🔥
Freaking Tony Pearson! Wow
Dennis, back in the days, people competed to be a or the champion,to be God's and Godesses, today people compete to win some money first and to be champion second....that's the difference 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾

What a great discussion. I would love to have hit my lat spread against Tony.

Breakdancing that was the 80s roll a piece of cardboard on the ground and spin around
Rear or real lat spreads?

Damhe looked like the jacked Michael Jackson version 😳😂
Ian never got 6th Dennis😄
I love a real lat spread, hate the fake ones
Me too 😀
Did you guys get stem cell Injection and come battle at masters Mr Olympia ❤❤
Rear******
Damn Dennis is weak AF 😂
I don't believe Dennis with his enormous muscle size is that weak. I think he was joking.
Iain’s never been 6th at the Olympia
Is Chris high 😂 or is it just his facial expression 😅
13:00 beautiful
? Why do all this Bodybuilder from the 1970 never give Dan Laurie credit
Arnold , Sergio, Tony Pearson et
They were with the WBBG bodybuilding organization
They were all WBBG even Joe Weider stayed at Dan Laurie’s home & stole his Idea
The Micheal Jackson of bodybuilding
Dennis ur wrong Ian was 7th not 6
Akim placed 6th in 2020 not Iain😭😂
