The beauty of America is the diversity that adds to it. Any style of home can be found here. If not? Well, you can buy land & build the home you've always wanted. Americans do love the freedom to lives as we wish. I hope you get some time when you come here not only to enjoy the food, but all the different lives that coexist here! LOVE your channel! ♥
Hey Adam! I'm so happy to have shared my home and story with you. That mural was painted by my aunts in the 1980s. Unfortunately, their farm was sold to a devloper and that barn is long gone. I treasure my pics and memories. 🙂
If you want to see an amazing house, look for a video on Fallingwater which was designed & built by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1935 for the Kaufmann family who owned Kaufmann's Department Store in Pittsburgh. It's found in the Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania...Mill Run, PA. The Smithsonian lists it as one of the 28 places you need to see before you die. When you watch the video, you will understand why. The design was something that had never been done before, like the cantilevered floors (floating balconies).
I enjoyed looking at the houses along with you. I live in Southern California. The house I grew up in (and still live in) was built in 1954. My father is the 2nd owner and bought it in 1975 for $32,000. My father paid it off in 1990. It's not in good shape as we never were able to afford to update and keep up regular maintenance so I won't share photos but I will tell you it has 3 bedrooms. 1 full bath and 1 half bath. Dining room. Medium size back yard and a 2 car garage. Not even close to nice as the houses in the videos but it's home. I have a place to live, sleep and eat and that's all I need.
I ❤ that you're doing this. I don't have an older home. But I adore older homes and am thrilled when people restore them and learn their history. Thanks for another great video!
Yay! As a girl who loves to just spend time looking thru Zillow in her spare time I'm totally vibin' with this 'lil series! ❤ The background music, your reading descriptions, its all just so pleasant! 🫶🏽👏🏽
You should do a "where do you live" and "what do you drive" videos every month or 2 months or whatever works for you. I think everyone enjoys them, and when people share real things with each other, a bond is formed. Imo, your subscribers will be loyal and tune in for every video.
I totally agree. We as Americans have so much more in common than we think, and this house series really reminds us that most of us are on the same playing level. Especially with elections coming up and divisions, this series is giving us the commonality that we’re all looking for. 😊❤
is that Hark the Herald Angels in the background? Merry Christmas!!! 😜 This was your best idea yet! So refreshing to see real American homes Instead of Stacey, who works for a nonprofit, and her husband Steve, who is a pharmaceutical rep, with their 2.35 Million dollar budget, making videos about their average American home. LOL
When my husband died suddenly, I moved with our 5 children to be closer to my family and bought a 6 bedroom home built in 1818 in the Boston suburbs. It had horsehair walls and gorgeous woodwork and built-ins, with many fireplaces. While the house was beautiful, in severe shock and grief, I was in a complete brain fog and not thinking rationally at all. My husband always took care of home maintenance stuff. I knew nothing about that stuff, nevermind all which could go wrong with a 200 yr old house. After only 3 yrs I sold it, buying a much newer home nearby, which was definitely the right decision.
Have you heard about the Winchester mansion? It’s an amazing historical home in California built by the widow and lone survivor of the Winchester rifle family. Construction on the home didn’t stop till her death
@@donnabert My grandfather made deliveries to the Winchester House as a kid for the family coffee store. The gossip at the time was that she was having an affair with the builder.
Pacific, WA is a small town of 7,000 in the Seattle suburbs about 28 miles from downtown. It's so lowkey that many people in the Seattle have never even heard of it. Very very quiet place with no downtown area at all. Nearly all just quiet single family neighborhoods. The town IS one neighborhood really. Beautiful large park by the river with a really nice trail. Great place to buy a home.
@@t.h.8475 The one downside is that the town itself doesn't have any attractions of any kind at all and only like fastfood places to eat. There's absolutely nothing to do except like go the community center or the park or something. You can go to the Auburn mall a bit further to the north and there are pretty much just huge warehouse areas to the south.

Adam, I've really enjoyed these 2 videos about the houses of your American viewers. Your genuine appreciation for their contributions was obvious and I enjoyed that as much as seeing the homes and hearing their amazing stories. Can I ask you one thing? Will you please say your name in some vid so I can learn how you pronounce your last name? I would really appreciate that.
Important tips for taking a baby to the Parks in Orlando: 2 Changes of Clothes, Small Travel size bottle of Cetaphil Gentle Cleaner (travel section in any pharmacy will sell it everything I mention here, all US pharmacies have a travel minis section), small wash cloth, Small Baby Cornstarch Powder all these Cetaphil etc etc is so you wipe down the baby’s whole body with it and a wet wash cloth then powder them at least every 3 hours and change their clothes. Do not just use wipes for this, they will cause rash in that constant heat. Im an expert at Disney and I’m always the only parent in the bathroom without a baby with horrendous diaper rash and fat fold rash at the parks. I also take a tiny Lysol and a small mat so I can just stand them in the sink for this real quick but you can just do it on the changing table. A mini fan for the stroller for the baby, Stroller Cover for the Rain and Rain Ponchos for the parents. You can buy super cheap disposable ones at Walmart for a couple bucks. Baby Sunhat and Baby Sunglasses and of course baby sunblock. Plus a thin sweater in case you’re going in somewhere cool from the heat like a restaurant or store which have the AC’s blasting in Florida especially in Summer. Make sure it’s the Cetaphil Gentle Cleaner not the face wash, the gentle cleaner is like a cream you rub on and can wipe off with barely any water and feel like you took a bath. Especially good for camping too.
2:04 That's a banister/hand rail end. Some houses have those (I know some in my neighborhood have it) and some don't. It depends on what the house type is.
I'd say you already know but I think you are the only on TH-cam showing subscriber's homes. At least I've never seen it before. Very nice idea and work my Irish brother!
If you're going to be in Orlando absolutely go to Gatorland. It was my absolute favorite place to go in the whole Orlando area. It doesn't have super long lines or huge crowds like Disneyworld and was super enjoyable.
With the snow and the music, it does feel like Christmas lol 😂 love it. Makes me wonder if any of the other reaction channels will react to your brilliant videos of these American homes. Living in California I live in an area where the modern homes are everywhere, lucky to be raised on the family farm but the general area lacks the charm some of the older homes have. So seeing these homes are very inspirational to see and I’m sure you must love seeing them too.
The big porches on older homes (especially in the South) were due to the hot weather. Before air conditioning was common, sitting outside in he shade was cooler than inside. Some people even slept outside on the porch when it was too hot inside.
Hey, Adam, about graffiti; years ago, I got tired of looking at an old, irrigation concrete "pipe" sticking 8 feet into the sky that was in my back yard (back when this area was agricultural and everyone belonged to an irrigation district rather than being connected to public utilities). I asked an artist friend to draw a scene of the setting sun with the Texas Guadalupe Mountains in the background. It turned out beautiful. Long story short: officials in my city asked me who had done it because they liked how I had covered up an eyesore. Now, years, later, every old irrigation pipe here in my hometown has "art" on it, everything from nature scenes to animals to famous people. They are a lot of fun to look at and admire. That progress home looks like my home!! But ours is in Texas!! What I LOVE about our home is we have stamped concrete back porch the length of the house. If you want to do a video on snow. Look up lake effect snow storms in Buffalo, NY. Others talk about inches per hour. These storms deal in feet per hour.
I sent some pics of my brothers cars to your email. He collects rare cars. I forgot to mention that the blue camero is a one of a kind, and the black truck was used in the movie Detroit. Their home is also very lovely. I’m proud of him he has worked very very hard for what he has.❤❤❤ love you!

Adam, your on to something special with this series. You could call the whole thing Americana in pictures. You can just continue in all the different aspects of America.A picture is woth a 1000 words and helps you understand better.
LMAO "I thought Ohio was always warm." Ohio will see a few days above 38C in the summer and below -18C in winter sometimes with or without the heat index or wind chill. Don't get me started on the '78 blizzard! PEACE Brother.
If you want to do a video on snow. Look up lake effect snow storms in Buffalo, NY. Others talk about inches per hour. These storms deal in feet per hour.
I love the Christmas tune in The background
Omg Hark the Herold Angels sing! Christmas in July!! LOVE IT!!!! (Adam this is a Christmas song! 😂)
THANK YOU everyone who shared I love hearing the stories. 😢 Adam I will send u photos when our construction is done lol. 🙂
I hope you may have a little time at Disney to meet up with a couple of your followers. I'm one of your "older" followers, but I spent lots of time at Disney ( all 4 parks). I'm an annual pass holder, so I come and go as I want there 😊 I absolutely love watching your commentaries on the USA!
That was cool! Trying to understand the Christmas music?? Lol is it Christmas in July??❤️🤗🐝
Christmas music in July? You feeling alright Adam?
Hearing "Hark the Herald Angels Sing" was a bit disconcerting. 😁
For the snow pictures? 😁
Never too early 😂😂😂
That 1993 house with a stream in the woods is the majority of Americans dream home. And he has a Mustang!
Keep doing them! ❤❤❤❤
Adam, what's with the Christmas music playing in the background in july? 😆
I’m distracted by the fact you’re playing Hark the Harold Angels sing and we’re in the middle of summer.
Keep up with your hard work on your videos every day awesome
36seconds ago this was uploaded????? AAHHH SHYTE!!
Brotherman, been a big fan for the last many years.
Still sad that you've not made a reaction to a Key and Peele compilation.
These houses seem okay. Buddy my personal house is known as a trailer. But I believe my square footage is bigger than your home. My yard is paramount, can fit maybe 15 american football fields inside it.
Right across the highway from me is Lake Cherokee in Tennessee
Christmas in July? Funny choice of background music. 😂
Love ya, Adam! Stay 😎 cool!
Now I wish I had good pics of our 1865 homeplace and the lake house.
all of these homes are nicer than average. most of us don't have fancy homes like these
It took me a few to figure out that SO probably means significant other
So = significant other!
Omg I’ve been to Warren Ohio! My family was from middlefield Ohio
Great video!
If you haven't looked at them look into the tiny home movement
