Haha now I am really dating myself but it was back in the 90's at Wolfe Park in Manchester N.H. before the composite bats really came out. It was with an Easton Redline single wall and it was one of the best bats back then. Everyone on the team was swinging the only one we had until it failed the ring test. After that it was on to the Demarini doublewall bats. Those were hot at the time too. I really love this sport and how the equipment has evolved over the years! Thanks for posting this video, I always kind of feel like I am there with you guys hitting and having fun!!!
I just started playing last year. My first Homer was hit this year at Belle Isle Park in Detroit, MI. Didn't know it was a home run until everyone told me to stop running. I glance to see where the ball was going and took off running. I'm considered to be a good base and lead off hitter.
First homer was in Thamesford Ontario at the time”field of dreams” - ball went into the cornfield over left field. Only problem was I didn’t see it go out as I was hustling down the line and not used to hitting it over the fence.
