I had the same problem a while ago. TH-cam just suddenly demonetized me for "reused" content. I tried to appeal but it was rejected. I still can appeal but I would need to wait till august. The worst part of this is that TH-cam didn't give any clue of which of my videos is "reused" content. So the worst case scenario is that I would need to remove most of my video (which I already did to some of them).
The only thing that YT has been known to react to is mass spamming them with notifications on Twitter. That’s the only thing known to work in a timely manner.

Not the first time I see a video like this one. It has happened to more than a few of the channels in my subscribed list. TH-cam first shoots and then asks. It will be their demise, there needs to be a viable alternative and creators will leave without ever looking back.

I could have maybe potentially seen the logic from google if this happened to the Squared Community channel because the specifics of the "do not"s sound like they would be opposed to multi animator projects like the community collabs, if individual parts were previously uploaded elsewhere, but this is Squared Media main, so there is no such logic to be found here. This is just another one of those instances where penalties really need to be supervised by an actual human before they are actually dealt, because this just should not have happened, let alone in a manner so poorly communicated. Terrible to see this happen to you all and to the whole channel no less and all I can do is wish you best of luck regaining monetization ASAP (and maybe boost this video a bit more in the algorithm by writing this comment).
I've never much cared for the ads (the only ones that even REMOTELY interest me are for Harbor Freight) but I do think that this is just ridiculous.
