Visual Studio is the way to go here. Thanks for the great video, I have also been unhappy with specflow not being maintained. I highly appreciate your work.
I don't believe there has ever been official support via vscode for the extensions. There is a workaround, I can make a video about that too if you find that useful?

I tried and did not found on the Visual Studio Code, seems it did not support, very sad
