Thank you so much for making your videos!! Am currently in college for crime scene (virtually of course) and learning prints virtually has been a real pain!!
Hi Bret. I tried to reach out to you but did not see an email on the about section of your channel. Would there be way to reach you other than here to get some assistance with fingerprints?
The values in the upper right corner of the card are determined by doing a ridge count if the print is a loop or by determining the tracing if it is a whorl. There is another video that shows how to do this.
Are you refering to the ridge counts or are you refering to the values of 16, 8, 4, 2, or 1 that are applied to the fingers that have whorls in them? Those values were specifed by Edward Richard Henry when he developed the system. They are used for determining the values of the Primary part of the Henry Classification.
I have a question professor. Why is key at number 5 when it should be at number 6? It should be primary, secondary, sub-secondary, major, final division and key right? Or this method you shared was for henry system only and not applicable for galton & henry system with fbi modification and extension?
Thank you for this video! I'm currently on review for a licensure and this adequately refreshed my memory from the Uni!

Great video man
Thank you for the video!
How we get the values in the upper right of each box? what it refers to?

But they still fixed numbers?
