The boomanade shirt is awesome. :) The color is slightly different and the A3 has a different coating. You can feel the difference without looking at the ports.

Maybe the next generation won’t look like something from Fischer Price.

No salinity probe? Even the "Pro" only has the port, the probe is extra. Last I checked, salinity was pretty important.
Real upgrades would be a remote wireless module for mixing stations, or a dedicated DC power bar for the Neptune/AI/Ecotech pumps powerheads and lights. We could ditch the bricks.

Salinity Probe is notorius for being inconsistent with Apex. use a refractometer or your favorite digital salinity device.

Glad they brought the jr. Back! I’m assuming all of the new models are compatible with trident 🔱

Yes backwards compatible with everything. It's an updated brain, same power bars.

What about salinity monitoring? I read that it is missing on the new model.

Salinity can be added to any Apex System with a PM 2 module. The port does come included inside of the Apex PRO model, all you would need it to purchase the probe - www.saltwateraquarium.com/a3-apex-pro-system-limited-edition-25th-anniversary-a3prosys-neptune-systems/

It's only available on the pro model and you now have to buy the sensor separately.

Honestly the middle ground model is going to be the top seller. ORP pretty much useless unless you use ozone. The variable ports are pretty much useless. The salinity people just have the wrong expectations for what it does but it’s not really needed. The middle road package is perfect and I would buy that if I was setting up another tank.

I wander why they don’t make a version that is the same but just in a more mature professional case .
